History
The history of the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) begins with its founding in 1994. Before that, there was a much older university in Ingolstadt, which was later relocated: The University of Ingolstadt was founded in 1472. Later moved its headquarters to Landshut in 1800 and to Munich in 1826, where it exists today as Ludwig Maximilian University. The university has developed rapidly after its foundation.
