Education is amazing and helpful faculty.
Tips: The actual university work was pretty much very good and not too difficult but not too easy either. The professors are amazing and the people present at uni are also really nice. And besides that my experience with my classmates and professors was very good. Safe to say I don’t regret or second guess why I chose the university and course. I didn’t avail any scholarships per se. The only thing that felt slightly difficult was finding my internship. And also the fact that chances are the internship won’t be paid. But otherwise a good experience. The only thing I wished for was that we had an on campus accommodation which also should’ve been cheaper as finding accommodation in Berlin specifically is like a battle with scams and also a huge money struggle.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): If I had the opportunity which I do hope to have, I would love to settle here as after learning the language and getting to become a part of the culture, it becomes much easier. Not saying no one faces any issues. But having friends and almost a new family here, it becomes easier to deal with the difficulties as well. And I’d say especially in Southern Germany, these opportunities are much better. Berlin is a bit more different from my experience to date.
Dislikes (Part time work): So on campus part time jobs are very difficult to find and off campus is even more difficult not just because of an early language barrier but also because of a shortage of work opportunities in part time. Also average students can earn up to 600 euros if they find a good part time job. Though most of the jobs will not be in the field and temporary labour work, that's the only way to earn decently in the beginning. Especially when students are still establishing themselves in a new country and trying to settled in. And I'd still suggest please learn the language regardless of the needs in your course.

UE, one of the most versatile, diverse and friendly in nature universities.
Tips: Cultural shifts are basic, adaptation is the key. Get to know the culture and people. You can be whoever you want and do whatever you like, but make sure it's not a nuisance, please don't disturb the public, especially don't ask personal questions to acquaintances. Berlin is a beautiful, friendly city and diverse in nature. Experience it to the fullest. I never availed any scholarships. Compared to other private universities, UE is one of the smallest. But still worth the money spent. I got an internship outside the University related to my course. I strongly advise students to learn the German language, a key to open all opportunities - volunteering, networking, part-time, full-time and internships. Germany is not your country if you refuse to learn the language.
Likes (Indian Food): There are a lot of varieties when it comes to restaurants. You can easily spot an Indian, Italian, Mexican, Vietnamese, Thai and Arab restaurant everywhere. Pricing depends upon the location and size of the restaurants and it can still be versatile. I usually cook food at home every day but treat myself to restaurant food twice a month. I prefer Indian restaurants but are slightly expensive and Thai restaurants are cheap but tasty and suitable for Indians.
Dislikes (Internships): Applying for internships at the university is quite easy, you just have to notice billboards or pay attention to career development emails or just directly ask your professors for internship vacancies. Guidance will be provided by career development seminars, but I'd suggest that students actively use LinkedIn. Most internships are relevant to the field of study, but I strongly recommend students to look for part-time/internships outside the university through LinkedIn, possibly, where students can experience and adapt to the actual work culture of Germans.

A supportive and career focused university.
Tips: Students should learn German. Course culture shift is totally different here, people use post for every documentation, it takes weeks to send or receive any post weather is very good should follow every rule or else you will be fined and the cost of living depends on the location but it's pretty expensive though.

Research thoroughly and learn German.
Tips: You must be prepared to do things on your own and patience is the most important thing in Germany, in case things take time. Language learning is a must. People won't see you as their own so no compromises with the language, and don't hurry to get admission. Figure out the language and then take a flight here. I got a decent scholarship for my tuition fees based on my 12th-grade marks. I would say the university can do a little better, but seeing other private universities here, it is not too bad, but public ones are the ones that challenge you, so getting into a public one is the best option and the best bet for your future.

Try to socialise, network and build connections.
Tips: I would suggest that the students have prior experience before shifting to any country. University does play a major role but so does networking and working on your own. Students should be prepared for hands on learning unlike what we are used to back in India. Time management is crucial as we have to juggle work, studies, socialising and networking.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): If I have a job and a good social circle, I would be happy to settle here. Permanent settlement is quite easy compared to other countries. Although you need to secure a job and have a certain level of proficiency in the German language. Things might feel a bit slow, paper-wise.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Not many options are there for food as the campus is located in a remote location. There were a few restaurants that cost 10 euros per person and most of them were like bakeries or pizza places. Students get their own food from home. There are options on campus but I didn't find any of my liking.

Good university with proper academic structure.
Tips: It's not a spoonfeeding session. You will be having a lot of assignments that require you to read papers and refer to whatever you need from any other sources; there won't be anyone to teach you all you require. You are all on your own so be always aware of this.
Likes (Public transportation): The public vehicle is good and efficient. It's affordable even in summer or winter but sometimes due to the construction or renovation, it will turn into a nightmare again, don't interpret it in the wrong way as it affects rarely. You can easily use a map and travel.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): This is because the pathway is structured but not at all simple. Blue card and PR are there but you need a minimum German C1 or C2 level. Another issue is the long waiting period. Now you can understand its not simple nor easy you have to invest time to learn German and work and study and understand the rules, tax, etc.
