A journey of learning and growth.
Tips: A college that shaped my growth, independence and confidence. NCI is fast paced so good time management really helps. The cultural shift was real, but it made me stronger and more independent. I received a 3000 scholarship and I am genuinely happy with the college, course and experience here.

A welcoming campus and a welcoming city.
Tips: The workload in NCI can be sometimes demanding. Time management is very important especially if you want to work part-time with your studies. The transition was smooth overall to Dublin. You need to get adjusted to the weather and cost of living in Dublin.
Likes (Student Life): Student life at NCI is very active and friendly. They host several events. NCI organizes a variety of events like cultural festivals, career fairs, tech talks and student gatherings. There are several clubs as gaming clubs cultural groups, tech societies which you will be introduced to on your induction day.
Dislikes (Safety): The campus itself feels safe, but Dublin can be unpredictable sometimes, especially late in the evening. On campus, we had student support services that guide you on safety in the city. Some parts of the city are not suggested to travel alone. Stay away from those places and you will be granted.

Practical learning and good opportunities.
Tips: NCI has great industry links and career support; time management is important. The transition was smooth, with a slight cultural shift in weather and accent. I got an NCI International Scholarship with a partial fee waiver.
Likes (Safety): NCI and Dublin are generally very safe. The campus has 24/7 security and CCTV, and the city has regular police patrols. My experience has been positive, with no major safety issues, just usual caution needed at night.
Dislikes (Part time work): On campus job opportunities at the National College of Ireland are quite limited and competitive. Most students rely on off-campus jobs in retail, hospitality or customer service, which are easier to find in Dublin. The average pay for part-time jobs is around €12–€15 per hour, depending on the role and experience.
