Good, safe and learning.
Tips: Students should know about the academic workload, campus culture, living costs, and job opportunities. If you apply to the college before 6 months, you will get the scholarship, and here the tuition fee is much less compared to other European countries.

MSc in Business Analytics for Decision Makers - Batch of 2026
4.1
Practical learning and good opportunities.
Tips: NCI has great industry links and career support; time management is important. The transition was smooth, with a slight cultural shift in weather and accent. I got an NCI International Scholarship with a partial fee waiver.
Likes (Safety): NCI and Dublin are generally very safe. The campus has 24/7 security and CCTV, and the city has regular police patrols. My experience has been positive, with no major safety issues, just usual caution needed at night.
Dislikes (Part time work): On campus job opportunities at the National College of Ireland are quite limited and competitive. Most students rely on off-campus jobs in retail, hospitality or customer service, which are easier to find in Dublin. The average pay for part-time jobs is around €12–€15 per hour, depending on the role and experience.

Life at National College of Ireland has been amazing.
Tips: It is a good college and a good place to network with people who work in enterprises since it's located in Dublin. I am satisfied with the course fee and got a scholarship as well, which was an additional benefit for the student who comes from abroad. Great experiences.

Strong support with a room of improvement.
Tips: Must be clear with the course. They have a strict policy of not changing the course once enrolled. During the admission I was awarded with the scholarship. The country is good. The weather is unpredictable, people are nice but stay away from the youth.
Likes (Internships): NCI offers a good connection to the industries, a good dedicated career team, and a structured programs for the placement. There are regular workshops, campus events and CV and LinkedIn support. However, it's not a perfect 5 because finding and securing an internship requires efforts from the student - many end up sending 10-20 applications.
Dislikes (Safety): Due to a recent increase in the incidents in Dublin. You will feel insecure in certain areas. I haven't experienced any such incident till date. But you have to be careful every time.

Part time job is really hard to find.
Tips: Do some research on your own, do not trust any consultancy blindly because they'll surely manipulate by showing old data, so know about the current statistics, and do a lot of networking, which is going to help you a lot after reaching Ireland. The international ratio is also not that good, as more and more indians are moving to Ireland, so if you're applying to this university for the international student ratio, then I'd suggest not to.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is so vibrant and awesome, filled with lots of opportunities to connect with many working professionals and also a lot of activities to keep us engaged. I learned a lot through these activities. Student life is also so much fun with a lot of international students and we get to know about different cultures.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time job is really hard to find. I thought of repaying my loan and taking care of my monthly expenses using my part time as my consultancies suggested, but in reality, it's totally different. So don't trust any consultancies, they are just manipulating you with old data, do some research on current statistics.

Fun and vibrant campus life.
Tips: There's a cultural shift, so students need to be adaptable. The college offers scholarships. I am very satisfied with the knowledge and career growth opportunities. Experience is beneficial; freshers may struggle to find good jobs. Students should be open to new challenges and build connections.
