So you will feel yourself as warm as in your home. Deakin Talent which is a co-allied organisation within Deakin allows students to have personalised job coaching, internship search and resume training. Deakin Legal Advocacy services are designed to safeguard the rights of students and also to assist with legal concerns. We also have peer mentor services and wonderful study guides. The faculty are extremely accessible and always available to help you out, solve your queries and support you. They conduct lectures, seminars and practicals so that students can get the best angle of understanding and the most surreal view of learning. The activities and interactions done during the teaching period are another great bonus that is a stepping stone towards building work-ready skills.
Likes (Internships): Deakin has numerous opportunities and an extensive student union programme. This allows us as students to exercise our full potential. The campus has all the facilities for students to learn and grow. We also have cultural events as well as sportive activities. We have clubs like the Deakin Debating Society, Deakin Badminton Society, Deakin Teddy Bear Hospital, Deakin Writers Club, Deakin Women's Exclusive, Deakin Social Club and a lot more ventures.

Totally worth your money and time.
Tips: The whole process of getting into Deakin is really simplified and easy. You will get mentors on campus that will guide you in the first year and and help you transition to university life easily. There is a lot of help and resources available whenever you need them.
Likes (Student Life): It is really fun studying at Deakin. It has a really good community and the campus is really amazing. The college has a great infrastructure, technologically advanced facilities and a good support from the university when you need it. It has a lot of events that happen on a regular basis.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Australia has a skilled occupation list, with the jobs that are currently required in Australia, and they update the same every year. So only the jobs that are listed in the skilled occupation list have a better chance at settlement or immigration to Australia.

A supportive and growth oriented experience.
Tips: I had a challenging time adjusting to my freedom and the diverse cultures at Deakin. However, the inclusive environment at Deakin helped me adjust. I received a 25% Deakin International Scholarship based on academic merit, which helped offset the cost of tuition. The faculty is very helpful and many on-campus events are happening so try as much to participate in them and build connections. The course is aligned with my goals, and the supportive environment at Deakin and in Australia is good. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience at Deakin.
