When it comes to McGill University scholarships for international students, various options are available. Centrally-administered entrance merit-based scholarships are offered to first-time university students, entering a full-time undergraduate degree program. The two types of McGill University centrally administered entrance scholarships are:
- One-year Entrance Scholarships: These scholarships are valued at $3,000 (non-renewable). No separate application is required for one-year entrance scholarships as these scholarships are awarded solely on the basis of academic achievement
- Major Entrance Scholarships: These scholarships are valued between $3,000 and $12,000 (renewable up to 3 o 4 years if the criteria for renewal are fulfilled). Major Entrance scholarships are awarded as per academic achievement and outstanding leadership in school or community activities. Note that for these scholarships, a separate application is needed
