- Relevant experience: In international relations - related employment or volunteer work including advisory, advocacy, consultancy, representation, analysis, research, management in public service, community, government relations, political and social, international or professional bodies, organisations, institutes or associations
- For Master of Translation and Interpreting Studies:
- AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognized equivalent; or AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognized equivalent with one of:
- Performance in their non-related bachelor's degree of an MQ equivalent WAM of +65, or
- A recognized professional qualification in translation or interpreting, or
- One year (full-time equivalent) approved work experience
- Proficiency in one of the available languages, and
- For students whose first language is English, completion of an admission assessment
- Related fields of study include: Translation Studies, Translating and Interpreting, Linguistics, Speech and Hearing Sciences, Speech-language Pathology, Language or Literary Studies, Comparative Literature, Creative Writing, Education, Journalism, Media, and Communication Studies, Law, Science, Business
- Relevant experience: Interpreting or translating in an accredited domain
