Difficult to find accommodation in Lakeshore.

Tips: The accommodation situation near Lakeshore campus is extremely bad. Make sure that you have contacts already who are willing to help you with the transition. The college will give you many assignments from the first week itself that it will be difficult to focus on any other thing after the beginning of classes. So, the best thing is to apply for part-time jobs and find a place to live before your classes begin. Arrive at least 10 days before the college starts so that you are comfortable and don't have to rush during the college hours.

Likes (Indian Food): You find quite a decent number of options for Indian food but it will burn a hole in your pocket and it is not suggested. But there shall be a difference in taste as compared to the food available in the country and it is suggested that you try everything to not get homesick.

Dislikes (Student Life): The college has little options whereby an international student can approach for help. Moreover, finding decent accommodation in the vicinity of college is a huge task and the rents asked by the landlords are through the roof. The assignments and part time opportunities are very cut throat too.

Tips: Things to know before joining Humber College, North Campus is that Canada is very cold and you will need to bring a lot of winter clothes before joining this college. Likes (Internships): The best part about college is that you get to meet new people from around the world and get to gain new experiences from different people. Different events are like Halloween and more they even celebrate Indian festivals. People here are very generous.

Dislikes (Part time work): There are world class facilities in the college and the faculties over there are very helpful with any doubts or questions.
