MBA in Financial Management - Batch of 2025
4.7
Wonderfully arranged course with mandatory internship opportunities
Tips: The course is rigorous and demands significant devotion to the subject. There are many internship possibilities. Much research and study are needed in each module, facilitated through discussion between the lecturer and students. The professors are excellent.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): A job contract is a vital means of entering a life of stability and the process of settlement. By complying with the requirements of such an employment contract, it will significantly help your efforts to get permanent residency status. On the one hand, it will give you financial stability; on the other hand, it will show the local authorities how much you want to become a part of their community and economy. This is your opportunity to settle and create your own family and future.
Dislikes (Public transportation): From 8 PM onward, there will be a shortage of transportation facilities in the town as the number of buses and taxis running is very low. It becomes important for visitors and locals to make arrangements for transport well ahead of time for these reasons.

Master of Engineering in Autonomous Driving - Batch of 2026

Technologically advanced
Tips: Your experience at Hochschule Coburg really hinges on your study track. Business and managerial programs require a proactive mindset from the start. But if you're taking technical degrees like Autonomous Driving, AI, or CS, make sure your core technical concepts are rock solid before classes begin. Fall behind on weekly lab tasks or coursework, and catching up right before Klausuren is a nightmare. Consistency is key here.

Master of Engineering in Autonomous Driving - Batch of 2026
3.2
Hands-on course with best professors
Tips: I got to know how the system of jobs and bureaucracy works here. Definitely everyone will experience the cultural shift here when coming from India. I didn't apply for scholarships, but the university sends out emails in case there are scholarships available. I am moderately satisfied with the university. Course-wise, I would say that it is recommended not to take this one because automotive and autonomous driving are completely down. There are very few jobs but more competition.
Likes (Safety): Since it is a small town, nothing much happens. I didn't have any bad experience. Everyone minds their own business. Some people are friendly in the supermarket or at the bus stop. The secretary helps a lot with the bureaucracy-related matters if we are not sure of something.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are very few jobs on the Kronach campus, like 1 to 3. Currently Valeo is not in good shape, and they are hiring very few work students. Getting a part-time job is quite difficult in the city. Most of the students take up odd jobs, like mini jobs in the restaurants, cafes, etc.

Master of Engineering in Additive Manufacturing and Lightweight Design - Batch of 2027
4.4
A small public university in the upper Franconia.
Tips: Coburg is a pretty small, cozy campus tucked away in a quiet Bavarian town. Getting an admission offer here is pretty straightforward for most tracks, unless you're trying to get into their financial management MBA, which is incredibly competitive and an entirely different beast to crack. Because it’s an applied sciences uni, they completely drop the heavy textbook theory and push you straight into hands-on lab work and practical projects.
Since I got into one of the German-taught programs, I didn't have to pay a single cent of those new international tuition fees—you just pay the standard, low-cost semester fee. Another massive win is scoring a Wohnheim spot through the Studentenwerk. The student dorms are incredibly cheap which saves you from dealing with the local rental market since finding an apartment around here can be a real headache. It honestly beats living in a massive, chaotic, and ridiculously expensive city if you prefer a close-knit campus vibe where you actually know people.

Master of Engineering in Analytical Instruments, Measurement and Sensor Technology (AIMS) - Batch of 2026

Perfect for studies but aims course is expensive
Tips: Before signing up for Hochschule Coburg, you definitely want to dig into what they offer for financial support, like the Deutschlandstipendium, and what kind of university sports clubs are on campus. But honestly, the most critical part is looking ahead to make sure the specific degree you're chasing isn't going to leave you stranded with a useless piece of paper when you start hunting for a job. Don't just look at the modules; make sure the career prospects and the starting salary you'll pull in down the line are actually worth the time and effort you're sinking into the course.
Likes (Indian Food): I ended up adjusting to the food here way quicker than I thought I would, and now I'm actually obsessed with the local diet. Getting to experience Franconian food culture and their random daily habits firsthand is honestly pretty cool, and Coburg itself just has a really great vibe to it. If your main goal is to travel around and try a million different dishes, staying here works out brilliantly. The town is basically a cheap, easy base for weekend trips—you can just hop on a train, explore different corners of Germany, and hit up new European food scenes with zero hassle.
Dislikes (Internships): Now the industries are in very complex situations, so at the present it's very hard to find internships in Germany, and moreover, students need to be aware of ATS software, which companies are using for selecting the resumes. Students need to know about the late software where the European company follows the methods to create their standard resume.

4.7
Hochschule coburg review by a masters student
Tips: Should learn German, and now this course feels like 1500 euros per semester, and of course before coming to Germany you must learn how to cook food at home, as it is quite essential because here you won't find so many vegetarian options. Plus, you have to show efforts in job hunting.
Likes (Value for money): For me, I wanted to learn robotics and AI, so with fewer feelings, it is worth it. If I go to learn the same course in the USA or Canada, then maybe I might have to pay worth lacs or crores for just education, and there I may have to face more competition for jobs.
Dislikes (Part time work): For other students who don't know German, they have some difficulties finding part-time jobs. It is very hard to find a part-time job and a technical job related to your studies. Because each company will have a requirement of German, and therefore at least B1 is required.

It is a good university, but due to current job market situation, think twice before coming.
Tips: Be prepared to do everything by yourself altogether and also for the big cultural shift. You will have to manage your meals, part-time work, job search, assignments, and exams at the same time. The scholarship depends on various factors, and it is not guaranteed that you will get it.
Likes (Safety): Students feel safe here. Nobody has faced any bad experience or any security issue here. Everyone can roam freely, whether in the daylight or at midnight. You can go and walk on the campus anytime. The environment is very good here; there are CCTV cameras installed on the campus.
Dislikes (Public transportation): As it is a small town, the buses stop very early in the evening, so you have to walk up on the slope to the campus, as it is situated above the city center. The public transportation is affordable; you get a student ID card, and you can travel anywhere in the city with it.

University is good. Everything is available and transportation is also easy.
Tips: Before joining, students should know about the course they are selecting and which background they come from. Should be aware of the climate. You must have the technical knowledge and need to learn the German language. The university has all the facades for you. Overall, I am satisfied with the experience.
Likes (Public transportation): Student life is good as far as you know the basic German language to live in the city. Everything you can get in the city and enjoy the German culture as well. You need to keep yourself engaged in some of the activities. Please be polite to everyone and enjoy.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Everything is good and the professors are supportive. You are updated on the university website and emails about the workshops. The international office arranges many events for you and is very supportive. You can have an interaction with the professors and get it resolve.

Great Learning Experience in a Multicultural Environment”
Tips: Students should be ready for a diverse, multicultural environment. I adapted quickly with support from faculty and classmates, and the cultural shift was positive. I did not avail any scholarship. I am highly satisfied with my university, course, and life in the UAE.
Likes (Student Life): Giving student life a full 5/5 comes down to how lively and close-knit the environment is at the RAK campus. Because we're in a specific academic hub in Ras Al Khaimah, you aren't just sitting through lectures and heading straight home—there’s always something happening after class. Most days are a mix of studying in the lounge with classmates, finishing up group work, and seeing what student events are going on after class.
The university regularly hosts cultural festivals that showcase the huge mix of international students we have here, along with sports tournaments, workshops, and inter-college meets. I make a point to stay actively involved in student clubs and cultural communities, which makes it super easy to build real friendships and build a network while doing your degree in RAK.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I rated 4 because food from my home country is available but with limited variety and slightly higher prices. Nearby, there are Indian, Arabic, fast-food, and cafe options ranging from AED 15 to 60 per meal. I mostly cook myself and eat out occasionally on weekends.

Quality Education in a Multicultural Environment
Tips: Before joining JNU Ras Al Khaimah, students should be ready for a multicultural and academically focused environment. My transition was smooth, and interacting with students from different countries helped me adapt quickly. There was only a small cultural adjustment, mainly in lifestyle and communication, but the campus was welcoming and supportive. I did not avail any scholarship. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the university, my course, and studying in the UAE because of the quality education, experienced faculty, modern facilities, and good career opportunities after graduation.
Likes (Public transportation): I rated 5/5 because JNU Ras Al Khaimah is well connected to different parts of the city through taxi, ride-hailing services, and public buses. Transport is reliable, safe, and easy to access. Monthly travel expenses are reasonable, making it convenient for students to commute for classes, shopping, and other daily needs.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I rated 4/5 because there are several Indian, Pakistani, and other Asian restaurants near JNU Ras Al Khaimah offering meals for AED 15u201340. Grocery stores also stock Indian ingredients, making self-cooking easy and affordable. I mostly prefer cooking, with occasional dining out on weekends.

Excellent Learning Experience with Great Career Opportunities in the UAE
Tips: Students should be prepared for an independent learning environment and higher living costs. The cultural shift was smooth due to the diverse student community. I didn't avail myself of any scholarship. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the university, course, and the UAE for its quality education and career opportunities.
Likes (Internships): I rated this a 5 because the university actually puts in the work to get you ready for the UAE job market. Since JNU RAK makes doing a full-time internship in your sixth semester mandatory, you don’t just graduate with a degree—you leave with actual work experience. The career services team and our tutors are super hands-on and constantly share relevant openings with us. The best part is that the placements aren't just generic admin work; they actually line up with whatever you are studying, whether you're doing cybersecurity, fintech, or hospitality. It makes a massive difference because you get to work inside real UAE companies, build a local professional network, and actually feel confident about landing a job here after you finish.
Dislikes (Part time work): I rated 4 because on-campus part-time jobs are limited, but off-campus roles in retail, hospitality, delivery, and customer service are available. Balancing work with studies is manageable. Students typically earn around AED 1,500–3,000/month depending on hours and role.

Best Experience with Supportive Faculty
Tips: Campus life out here keeps you pretty busy, and honestly, you get out what you put into it. There are always technical events, coding competitions, and different student clubs or cultural fests happening around the university, which are actually a great excuse to shake off the academic stress and work on your communication skills.
When it comes to landing a job or an internship in the UAE, the university doesn't just leave you to figure it out alone. They run a lot of career counseling and resume-building sessions, and they do mock interviews to help you prepare for actual placement drives. It's a huge help, but you still have to be proactive about networking and putting yourself out there during the internship cycles if you want to snag a good role before graduating.

Great Learning Experience .
Tips: Before signing up for the cybersecurity and info-sec program here, you need to know that it is heavily hands-on. They don't just make you memorize textbooks; you're going to be spending a lot of time grinding through practical lab sessions, intense assignments, and actual projects to build up your technical skills. It can get demanding, but it’s exactly what prepares you for real-world security jobs. The other major piece of advice is to not just sit in the back of the class—you really need to network. Building solid relationships with your professors and classmates makes a massive difference out here in Ras Al Khaimah. It changes the entire vibe of your degree, gives you people to lean on when the coursework gets tough, and honestly opens up way better connections for internships and jobs later on.

Best college for BBA in Fintech and digital marketing
Tips: The course combines finance with modern technology. It offers practical learning, industry exposure, and updated subjects. Students gain the skills needed to build successful careers in the banking and fintech sectors. The campus has SMART classrooms, computer labs, Wi-Fi, and a library.
Likes (Indian Food): I rated it high because the Indian food situation out here in RAK is amazing—you basically never feel homesick. Since there’s a huge Indian crowd in the area, you’re surrounded by cheap, authentic spots right near campus. You can easily grab a proper thali, paranthas, or just a cutting chai for next to nothing. Most of these local cafeterias cook specifically for students, so the taste and spice levels are exactly like back home, not some watered-down version. Plus, if you're stuck studying for exams, you can just hop on Talabat and get a cheap biryani sent right to your room. Honestly, the food scene is easily a major highlight of being here.
Dislikes (Value for money): Honestly, the fees are just way too high for what you're actually getting in return—that’s the main reason my value rating is so low. Look, the faculty is great, no complaints on that front. The professors genuinely know their stuff when it comes to finance or the digital banking side of things, and they’re always around if you need help. But when you’re paying this much to study out in Ras Al Khaimah, you expect a state-of-the-art campus and major corporate links. Instead, the facilities are pretty basic and the placements are underwhelming. The teachers do what they can, but the actual university infrastructure just doesn't justify what you're shelling out.

For me, settling in was actually pretty smooth, even though getting used to the local culture, the Middle Eastern vibe, and the different teaching styles did take a little bit of time at first. Personally, I didn’t end up applying for any scholarships while I was here, but the university does have a bunch of options up for grabs depending on your grades and if you meet their eligibility criteria. Looking back, I’m honestly really happy with my decision, the course choice, and the overall experience. The faculty members are genuinely supportive, the classes actually focus on what you need to know for real-world jobs, and the campus environment gives you a good space to grow both as a student and just as a person.
Likes (Post study jobs): I rated post-study jobs highly because getting your degree at the JNU Ras Al Khaimah campus puts you right in the middle of the UAE job market. You aren't just sending blind applications from back home in India and hoping a company takes a massive gamble on sponsoring your move—you are already physically here, which makes a world of difference to local recruiters. RAK is expanding fast with its free trade zones, and if you actually hustle and build up your network while you're studying, it's very doable to transition into a full-time role here or even make the jump over to Dubai or Sharjah. It’s obviously still a competitive market, but having a local base and a locally recognized setup gives you a serious leg up in locking down a solid job right after graduation.

A Rewarding College Journey with Excellent Learning and Career Opportunities
Tips: Before heading to JNU RAK, just know the academic support is solid and the faculty really know their stuff, but nobody is going to hold your hand. You have to stay on top of your own projects and figure out how to balance your classes with a normal life. Adjusting to the UAE education system and classroom style definitely took me a minute, but the campus community is welcoming enough that you adapt quickly. Price-wise I managed to snag a merit scholarship just by sending over my grades which takes a good chunk off the tuition. Looking back the practical exposure and career setups here have made the whole move entirely worth it.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I gave permanent settlement a 4 mostly because the job market, lifestyle, and work-life balance are great, plus there’s a fairly straightforward path to staying long-term if you have the right background. Still, dealing with the visa system is a massive headache. It's incredibly competitive, rules change all the time, and the paperwork takes forever.
I think my chances of actually staying are pretty good, as long as I can rack up enough local work experience after graduating and keep my CV in good shape. Being in a field where companies are desperate for people changes everything.
Honestly, if things work out, I’d love to stay permanently just for the better career path and lifestyle. But it’s definitely not a no-brainer. At the end of the day, it's still going to depend on my long-term goals and, honestly, how things are looking with my family back home.

A Supportive University with Great Learning and Career Opportunities.
Tips: You seriously need to be ready to manage your own schedule and life stuff completely on your own—being independent is a massive deal here. If you want to get your money's worth, you've just got to show up in class, get involved in clubs, and actually talk to people and professors.
Moving here wasn't too crazy, but the lifestyle and how people communicate definitely felt weird at first. Trying to balance a heavy workload with basic daily chores was a massive reality check. Honestly though, just hanging out with people from completely different backgrounds helped me find my footing and grow up a bit.
I also managed to land a scholarship just based on my grades. The whole application was zero hassle—literally just uploaded my docs onto the university portal. It chopped off a huge chunk of the tuition fees, which was a massive lifesaver while I was studying.
Likes (Value for money): I gave value for money a solid 5 because, honestly, what you get for the tuition fees is totally worth it. The teaching is top-tier, you get plenty of hands-on experience, and the career support team actually works hard to help you land internships and jobs. The whole curriculum is built around what companies are actually looking for right now, so you aren't just memorizing useless theory.
The fees are 100% justified when you look at what you get access to—the labs, massive libraries, study support, and all the networking events they host. Plus, there are tons of workshops and projects that genuinely help you grow outside of just passing your modules. Looking at the whole picture—the campus vibe, the education, and where it can take your career—it feels like a genuinely great investment.
Dislikes (Part time work): I gave part-time work a 4 because while there are plenty of decent ways to make money here, juggling a job with your studies gets incredibly stressful around exams and major deadlines. On-campus gigs are great and super flexible with your schedule, but they're tough to secure. You're usually looking at basic roles like helping out in the library, doing admin stuff, or working as a student ambassador.
Off-campus is where most people end up, usually working in retail, waiting tables, doing deliveries, or tutoring. A lot of students also just opt for online stuff like freelance content writing or social media management so they can work from home. It's definitely manageable, but when assignment deadlines pile up, the burnout is real.

A Great Learning Experience with Excellent Student Life and Career Opportunities .
Tips: Just a heads up before you commit here and nobody is going to hold your hand. Seriously. Managing your time and staying on top of your own schedule is a massive deal. Especially since the courses are super practical. They rely way more on continuous assignments than big final exams, so you literally cannot afford to just slack off. Try to cram everything the night before it's due and you're cooked.
Also, get ready for some serious culture shock. The campus is crazy diverse. Like, you’re going to be dealing with people from pretty much every single corner of the earth.
If you want to survive and actually have a good time, you’ve got to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Talk to people from day one. Working on your communication skills and keeping an open mind? Yeah, that isn't just some nice bonus here—it’s honestly a survival trait.
Likes (Student Life): I gave student life a solid 5 because the campus vibe is honestly amazing and there’s always something happening outside of classes. On a normal day you’re basically bouncing between lectures, hiding out in the library or study pods to get work done and just chilling with friends around campus.
The best part by far is how multicultural the place is. You meet people from literally all over the world, and just chatting with everyone makes the whole university experience way more interesting. The uni is always throwing some kind of event too—whether it’s a random cultural festival, a sports tournament, hackathons, or career fairs.
I try to show up to as much stuff as I can since it’s the easiest way to actually make friends and build up some confidence. There’s a ton of student-run clubs as well, covering everything from coding and entrepreneurship to music, photography, and sports. Joining them is a massive help because it instantly gives you a proper community and a break from the constant studying.
Dislikes (Part time work): I gave part-time work a 4 because while there’s definitely a decent amount of jobs out there, trying to juggle a shift schedule with a brutal exam week or a massive assignment deadline is incredibly stressful. Finding something on campus is pretty tough since those library, desk, or cafeteria gigs are super competitive and get snapped up immediately.
Off-campus is usually your best bet. Most people I know end up working in retail, waiting tables, doing delivery runs or doing some casual tutoring on the side just to make ends meet. The opportunities are definitely there you just have to be smart about managing your time so your grades don't tank.
