MSc Supply Chain Management - Batch of 2019

Try public universities and refrain from coming to Germany at this point of time- No jobs
Tips: The one I studied is quite expensive. Try the public institutions such as Universität Bremen; if possible, they are quite cheaper, around 1000 euros (upper limit) per semester. I did my PhD at Universität Bremen. But I would still recommend the students not come to Germany at this point in time. The job market is highly volatile and really bad. And the language requirements are extremely high. Already the ones that are settled in Germany are not finding jobs. So please refrain from coming to Germany at this point in time.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation has been good in Germany as compared to India since always. The frequency is quite high, and the quality is really good. Unlike the US, you don't need a car for traveling within most of the places in Europe or Germany. So in terms of traveling, Europe is the best.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer eating outside. And the options available here are not comparatively the same and are quite expensive. The same goes with Indian supermarket stores for buying Indian products. They are quite expensive, at least in Bremen. Berlin and Munich have better options.

Unforgettable and challenging
Tips: The tuition at Constructor University is definitely on the higher side, especially compared to public German universities, so you really have to weigh the cost against what you're getting. What you are paying for is a private, English-speaking campus in Bremen with a ridiculously international student body—you’re living in residential colleges with people from over 100 countries, which makes campus life incredible. On the job front, you need to understand how career support works in Germany before coming here. Constructor doesn't run traditional 'campus placements' where companies come to hand out job offers. Instead, the Career Services team hosts corporate fairs, networking events, and company workshops to help you connect with partner firms. At the end of the day, getting hired in Germany is on you—you have to network, apply early, and learn decent German. But if you actually use the university's corporate events and stay organized, the degree pays off.

MSc Supply Chain Management - Batch of 2026

Good, if you are looking for the study.
Tips: The single biggest piece of advice I can give anyone considering Constructor University is to start learning German before you step foot in Bremen. Because Constructor is a fully English-speaking, private campus, it’s ridiculously easy to get lulled into a false sense of security. Inside the campus bubble, everyone speaks English, but the moment you step outside to apply for part-time jobs, student roles (Werkstudent positions), or internships, reality hits hard. The local job market in Germany is brutal if you don't speak the language. English-only part-time jobs are rare and get swamped with hundreds of applicants. If you want to land a decent gig to cover your monthly living expenses, having at least B1 or B2 German under your belt is practically non-negotiable. On top of that, brace yourself for a genuine culture shock—from navigating strict German rules and bureaucracy to getting used to a much more reserved, direct communication style in everyday life. If you come prepared with basic language skills and realistic expectations, your transition will be ten times smoother.

BSc Electrical and Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027

Little bitter little sweet
Tips: Before coming here, the biggest thing to keep in mind is that integrating takes actual effort on your part. Respecting local customs and picking up basic everyday phrases in the local language will make your life ten times easier—locals really appreciate when you try, and it instantly breaks the ice. On the financial side, don't rely on getting a huge merit scholarship right off the bat, as funding is pretty limited. That said, there are decent on-campus job options available for registered students, like working in the library, admin offices, or dining halls. It’s a realistic way to cover your day-to-day living costs while keeping your schedule manageable alongside classes.

A practical experience and a bit too harsh for some.
Tips: If you are planning on working part-time and studying as well. Buckle up as it's gonna be a ride. It will get lonely and tiresome. Not trying to scare anyone but it is just a harsh reality. Scholarships depend as there is a complicated process for it. Quite satisfied with the university experience and course.

Excellent choice for internation students who are looking for Private university.
Tips: Students should know about independent learning and basic German skills. Also, I did not avail myself of scholarships during my studies. Overall I'm satisfied with my university, course and stay in Germany. The industry exposure in Germany is huge and will be really helpful for students to land a job.
Likes (Safety): I gave safety a 5 out of 5 because Hamm is honestly an incredibly chill and quiet place where you never feel like you have to watch your back. Even if you're walking home late at night from the campus or the train station, it just feels completely safe and secure. The whole town is super organized, and you've got buses running constantly so you're never stranded. Now, to be completely real, Hamm is definitely a bit on the boring side—it’s a quiet student town, not a massive party hub. But the massive upside is that your SRH semester ticket covers all the public transit, so it's super easy to hop on a train and head over to bigger places like Dortmund, Düsseldorf, or Cologne whenever you want some excitement. For day-to-day student life, it’s a peaceful, hassle-free place to live, and my experience here has been nothing but positive.
Dislikes (Internships): There are opportunities available, but students need to be proactive in finding them. The university shares job postings and career-related information but is limited in assistance. Yes, there are internships related to relevant studies, especially in SCM and logistics.

Student life review - SRH University campus Cologne
Tips: If you're coming to SRH, you need to accept right away that you'll have to bust your gut from day one. Because of the core principle—where you focus on one five-week block at a time instead of juggling five different subjects—the academic pace hits you fast, and you can’t afford to slack off. Don't bank on getting a scholarship here because the competition is brutal. The uni does have funding, but they screen applicants like crazy—you basically need straight A's and an insane background story just to be considered. Looking back, I’m genuinely glad I made this move. The practical, hands-on style of the course; the overall student vibe in NRW; and the way the uni sets up its projects make the whole stressful grind completely worth it.
Likes (Public transportation): I gave public transport a high rating because the connection across North Rhine-Westphalia is honestly fantastic, especially if you want to zip between Leverkusen and Cologne or Düsseldorf. The major win is the Deutschlandticket—having that covered in your semester fee makes traveling anywhere completely mindless and incredibly cheap. The only real catch is the SRH campus location itself. It’s tucked away a bit further out, so the local buses aren't running every single minute. If you happen to miss your connection, you're pretty much stuck doing a brisk 10 or 15-minute walk to get to class. As long as you actually check the DB app before leaving your room, the regional transit is a lifesaver for getting around on the cheap.
Dislikes (Internships): The university offers guidance with CVs and cover letters. There's not much apart from this. Students are expected to be prepared to look for opportunities on their own. The internships are definitely relevant, but you get in based on skills. There is no "placement cell" department like in India.

Good transportation facilities.
Tips: I have improved myself personally in many aspects. I have learned many things. There are many cultural shifts but we can get used to it its not difficult. I didn't apply for any scholarship but if students want, they can apply as our college sponsors some of them.
Dislikes (Internships): There are internships available but we should find on our own most of them college help only for a few. They almost try to help in all the ways but we should also try on our own and try to explore more rather than depending on college completely.

The locals are friendly and helpful but try learning German.
Tips: I feel I got lucky and got a master's degree easily while some others are working hard to get one. One thing every student should keep in mind when coming here for education is to keep strong both mentally and physically when facing challenges and to learn German. You will grow higher and higher this way. Cologne is generally a safe city with strong security. It’s one of the best places to live in the Nordrein-Westfalen region. Personally, I’ve never had a safety issue and find the locals to be friendly and helpful. True, some of them may look down on me as an outsider, but there’s nothing I can do about it, so I just ignore it and go on about my business. I feel that the tuition for my course is relatively high compared to the quality of education, resources, and career support I have received. I expected more hands-on experience, industry exposure, and practical studies. I believe the program would have been better with internship support and industry connections.
