Full-time MBA - Batch of 2026
4.7
Wonderful college, excellent faculty.
Tips: A few essential takeaways before starting the MBA at ESMT: First, job hunting in Germany requires massive personal effort. ESMT gives you the brand name and platform, but converting that into a full-time role or working student position takes real initiative, networking, and language prep. Second, check the application portal for funding options. I didn't take any scholarships myself, but the school lists various tuition reduction awards based on leadership, background, and career achievements. Overall, between the quality of the coursework, the campus location in Berlin, and the international exposure, I’d recommend the program to anyone wanting a European MBA.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): 1. In Germany, post-degree completion, you are eligible for an 18-month post-study visa, so companies here need not sponsor your visa. 2. All depends on your work experience prior to the degree. There are very few companies and startups who are open to a career pivot.

Good option for MBA/MIM/MGM/MAAI in Europe
Tips: A good option for masters in business in Europe. The cost is similar to any top university in India. Pretty satisfied with the course and the university. Slight problem going on with jobs and internships, due to market situations. Overall, highly diversified student body.

Master of Science in Management - Innovative Management - Batch of 2024
4.8
Exciting, beautiful and diverse
Tips: It's not about the college, but while coming to Germany there might be situations where 50% of jobs need knowledge of German language. College is very beautiful and it is located in the center with a good transport network. A lot of events with various companies take place, where we can build our network
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty has significant amount of experience and they teach complex concepts in a simple manner with real-life examples. Due to the smaller class size compared to other business schools, professors also give more attention to students and they are always open for any discussion.
Dislikes (Internships): College has a lot of network and career services. Also tries to bring good internship opportunities. Our college was founded by 25 global companies and that's the basis of bigger network of job opportunities. Career service provides great support from CVs, and cover letters to interview workshops.

Good Experience, Worth it
Tips: There is for sure a cultural shift. You'll get used to it in a month. Be polite to people (keep saying sorry and thanks). Try to meet people from different countries; you'll learn a lot. I got a scholarship from the university worth 5k pounds. Most students do get scholarships. It's a good course and a really good university. Check the visa policy, though, before you decide to study in the UK.
Likes (Public transportation): Frequent buses from campus to the city. Buses to nearby cities too are frequent. Buses are available throughout the day, until late evening. Getting to the city and back is not an issue. It's affordable too (2 pounds). Get a bus pass if you travel frequently.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): With the recent policy changes, staying back long-term is a lot harder now since they chopped the post-study visa down from 24 months to just 18. Honestly, if you're completely fine with heading back home after your degree, it's still a massive win. You'll get to experience a completely different lifestyle and network with people from all over the place while you're there.
