Tips: College is strict in academics. You should follow the rules strictly while doing your assignments and work, and if you would like to avail any scholarship, the college will help you in that. The best place to experience a different number of cultures and traditions.
Likes (Safety): We will be able to access anything through our college student card, so that's a great opportunity, we can explore many things, and we will have possible ways to improve our networking through interacting with people who come from different regions.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): My college professors are friendly and approachable anytime. We will be having a college mail ID. Using this ID, we can contact them any time if we have any issues, and mostly we will be able to sort out all the doubts in the class itself, as they explain everything in detail.

Tips: If you are going to study computing, be prepared to give up part-time work. The course is very practical and requires dedicated study hours. Don't expect easy passing like at other institutions; you need to put in the effort, prepare, and study to succeed.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The course is well-designed with many hands-on portions, sometimes a bit too much even. But it's still good value for money. The teachers are good at what they teach, but each subject has its own unique assessments and assignments that you need to pass individually.
Dislikes (Part time work): My course, M.Sc. in Computing, involved four days of on-campus lectures, numerous projects, and assignments, leaving little time for part-time work. The average hourly pay is around 13, but this varies depending on the workplace and hours worked.

Good college for people who are ready to work hard.
Tips: You might find it difficult to manage part time with studies as they have a tight schedule with assignments and exams. Weekends off can also mean spending time on submissions. Exams are taken seriously hence one would need lot of hard work. You will have study leave and some holidays to enjoy. Faculty members are highly professional and supportive. They prepare you for your career after studying. Overall, I am satisfied with my college.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty were mainly Irish. They were professional and great teachers. They were always happy to help. They were always approachable if you had a question. Most importantly, they taught you how to deal with the professional problems that you might encounter in your career.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time opportunities depends on the vacancy and your willingness to do any work. Currently the vacancies are less hence some people might find it difficult to get one. Also you might not unnecessarily get the full 20 hours to work in a week hence finding it difficult to earn for your living expenses.

It’s also essential to be prepared for cultural diversity, as the college hosts students from all over the world.
The transition to life at Griffith was overall smooth but came with an initial cultural shift. From classroom behaviour and teaching methods to social customs and communication styles, everything required a period of adjustment. However, the supportive faculty and friendly peers made the process easier. Participating in group projects, workshops, and college events helped me integrate and develop both academically and personally.
I was fortunate to receive a partial merit-based scholarship. The scholarship application was submitted during the admission process, and selection was based on academic performance and a personal statement. The allowance helped reduce tuition fees, which made studying abroad more affordable and manageable.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience at Griffith College, both in terms of my course and the country. The curriculum is industry-relevant, the lecturers are knowledgeable, and the campus offers modern facilities. Living in Ireland has been a rewarding experience due to its friendly people, beautiful landscapes, and safety. Griffith has not only enhanced my academic knowledge but also contributed to my personal growth and career readiness.
Likes (Indian Food): Dublin, especially around Griffith College, offers a good range of international food choices, though it may not fully match the authenticity or variety available back home. There are numerous Indian, Pakistani, Chinese, Middle Eastern, and African restaurants within a short distance of the college. These places cater well to the student population, and the food is generally flavorful and satisfying.
Typical restaurants include Indian curry houses, halal takeaway spots, Chinese and Thai noodle bars, and kebab joints. Prices are fairly reasonable for students, with meals usually costing between €8 and €15. There are also more premium restaurants if you're looking for a special treat, where prices can range from €20 to €25 per meal. In addition, fast-food chains and local cafés provide convenient options for a quick bite.
Grocery stores and Asian or ethnic supermarkets like Tesco, Lidl, Eurasia, and Asia Market offer ingredients and spices from various countries, making it easier to cook your own meals if you prefer traditional home-style food. This has been especially helpful in maintaining a sense of comfort and familiarity.
Personally, I prefer cooking at home during the week to save money and eat healthier, but I enjoy dining out on weekends or during social gatherings. The availability of ingredients and dining options allows me to maintain a balanced routine and stay connected to my culinary roots while exploring Irish and international cuisine.
Dislikes (Internships): While Griffith College provides some support in this area, there is still room for improvement in terms of guidance, structure, and opportunities. The Careers Office occasionally shares internship openings through emails and job portals, and they do conduct workshops on CV writing, interview preparation, and LinkedIn optimisation. However, the process of finding and securing internships is largely student-driven.
For international students unfamiliar with the Irish job market, this can be challenging. There is limited one-on-one mentorship or a dedicated placement program for many non-technical or niche postgraduate courses. Guidance is often general and not always tailored to individual industries or specific fields of study.
In my case, while the college shared internship resources, I had to do most of the research and networking independently to find opportunities related to my program. There are some relevant internships available, especially in business, IT, and digital marketing sectors, but students in specialised fields like pharmaceutical sciences or clinical research might struggle to find directly aligned roles unless they proactively search beyond the college's network.
That said, Ireland has a growing job market, and with persistence, it’s possible to find meaningful work experience. Griffith does try to support students, but could strengthen its connections with industry partners and offer more structured internship pathways. This would greatly enhance the practical learning experience and better align with the academic programs offered.

Most of the classes use real-time examples which give exposure to the current market and industry-level experience. You get lectures from different nationalities and countries. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with my college, which offers great opportunities to explore.

Tips: There's not much of a cultural shift here. You'll find it very similar to your home country. I got 1,000 euros of scholarship money. As a full-time Master's student, I need to pay attention in class and do well academically. I also make sure that I'm meeting the attendance requirements, which are very important. Because of all of this, I'll probably be at college most days of the week. Fortunately, there are a lot of fun events to attend on campus, like movie parties and Halloween celebrations. There is also a student union that will help us to adjust. I'm completely satisfied with the country more than my college, as it feels like home and provides a lot of comfort and support.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation here is truly great. There's a bus every minute, and a train every ten minutes, which allows you to travel anywhere around the city. There's the Luas and the busses. Travel will run you about one Euro per hour, which is affordable and convenient.

Tips: I received a scholarship for 1500 euros, which is very common. Most students receive scholarships of 1000 to 1500 euros. I think it’s completely justified, the amount we are paying is affordable if we compare it to other countries, and the academics and studies are the best. Every lecture is very supportive and the teachers will help with all academic needs. I am very happy with my choice of courses, which offer a plethora of opportunities. Naturally, there will be some culture shock, but for us, it's exciting to try something new.
Dislikes (Student Life): I spend most of my free time with my friends in our weekly classes at Griffith College. Everyone else is busy with part-time jobs or other stuff. So if we get some time off, we all meet up at college. There are always lots of things happening at college, often organized by Griffith's Student Union.

Tips: Before joining, research campus life, course curriculum, and location. I transition smoothly, adapting to diverse cultures. No cultural shock, but I did learn to be independent. I availed a merit-based scholarship, receiving 20% tuition fee waiver. It took time to get used to, but I enjoy it now. My day is usually spent with a combination of classes, self-study, and extracurricular activities. I enjoy campus events, such as cultural fests, as well as seminars. There are a variety of clubs here, such as debate, sports, etc. I only participate occasionally, though, as I have to balance academic activities with my interests. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the university, course, and country.
Likes (Indian Food): I prefer to cook my own meals. However, sometimes eating out is okay, although otherwise it is hard for students from outside. Some restaurants give offers for students. Indian restaurants tend to be located mainly in the city center, and, according to prices, it's a bit difficult for students there.

Tips: College is good for academic and job opportunities, but adjusting can be tough. The culture, teaching style, and lifestyle are different, and groceries are expensive, making it tough for international students. There are good opportunities for part-time work, though. Some aspects, such as meeting new friends from diverse backgrounds, have been quite enjoyable. Yet, other aspects, like having to attend classes online and in person in the afternoon, have been stressful and boring. Also, I don't like that some days I have to go to college for just two hours. Nonetheless, my favorite parts of being at this college are the freedom and the fun moments I have with my friends. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): I would love to settle here because there is a work-life balance in this country. They have good job prospects and quality of life compared to other places. For good career growth, a comfortable lifestyle and a better future, this country is good to settle. I would consider settling here if everything aligns well.

Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is really good in Dublin, especially around the city centers. They have good connections to all of the colleges, and each college has its own bus stop and Luas stop. Colleges provide information to help students with public transportation, such as route planning and how to apply for a Leap Card.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): As of now, there's very little scope for settlement options, because the job market isn't good at all. Even if we get a job, the companies don't sponsor the visa. Many jobs are removed from the critical skills list, which makes it really tough to get stamp 1.

Plus, the exams make you a studious, responsible student. The lecturers are very supportive of your academics and are very experienced professionals. Tips: In my opinion, before joining any college, students should learn about the school's background, the courses it offers, the course modules and the facilities. They should also check out the campus, the sports activities and events it offers, and any other activities available. Of course, you should also find out how much the courses you're interested in cost. The tuition is valid for this course because my course is Big Data Management and Analytics, so it's a very difficult course, and Griffith College provides this course. Euros will be converted to Indian rupees, which is big money from the India side, but it feels nominal for international students.
Likes (Indian Food): There are so many options for Indian cuisine in Dublin. There are many Indian restaurants, street food vendors, and Indian grocery stores. You can find just about any kind of vegetable, street food, dairy product, and other kitchen ingredients you might want. Best of all, many of these options are affordable. I really love all the food options I have here in Dublin.

Tips: Coming to this university from India was a big cultural shift, and it's an entire culture change. I had to learn how to deal with the social life here. That being said, the university did accommodate me with some scholarships, which I'm very grateful for. I think the scholarships are more available to students from a diverse range of backgrounds and courses, and may have changed since I graduated.
Likes (Internships): At Massey University, I had a hybrid work/school schedule and was actively involved in many different events and was excited to spend time with my classmates and my professor to put my work experience to practical use.
Dislikes (Value for money): The university has a top-notch helping and guiding faculty that reaches out to students one by one and helps them from scratch. I was in the business school, and even the head of the business school is easily accessible and approachable. The purpose of education here is all practical and helps us to reflect on and provide an analysis of what we have done and gone through actually in our workplace, and how the whole industry and the system work. From students to teachers, there is a huge diversity where you meet people from different ethnicities, and you get a wide range of experiences.

The university has a great faculty and is academically oriented.
Tips: It's a decent college with good faculty and is academically oriented. The study is self-directed for the most part and assignments help with hands-on learning immensely. However, you won't get spoon-fed, so be prepared to make YouTube your guru. Overall, I think I have come out with satisfactory industry knowledge.
Likes (Indian Food): There are plenty of Indian food joints with good quality food. Indian grocery stores are bound and everything is available. You would have cuisines from all parts of India and the price can range from 15 to 100 dollars/head depending on where you pick to eat. Every food court has at least one or more Indian food options.
Dislikes (Internships): Student visa holders are last on the priority list for internships and the New Zealand market is vulnerable to economic downturns. You have to rely on networking which is difficult for a new migrant. I know students who have applied for over 250 internships without any success.

A great place to learn and live.
Tips: The government here provides scholarships to international students, so you should check to see if any are available. I did not get any scholarships because my subject does not include any scholarships like that. But overall, this university is so good that they value your culture and religion.
Likes (Student Life): Student life at this university is great. You'll have a good environment with supportive professors and lovely friends. Your classmates will be supportive as well, and all of your professors will help you grow professionally in your career.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The food in New Zealand is very different from what I'm used to. Here, people eat boiled food with no spices or salt. As an Indian, I love spicy food that includes at least one or two spices. Also, we love rice, but here they don't eat anything like that. They just eat boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, and rice without salt or spices. They don't even eat curry.

Massey University ranks third among New Zealand universities.
Tips: The transition was smooth. The time difference with India is huge (6.5 - 7.5 hours). University provides you with scholarships, based on your education, work experience etc. There is no such thing as a daily allowance in NZ. You need to get a part-time job to support yourself. The university is very big and beautiful, the courses are very nice, the professors are experienced in their field of studies and NZ is a beautiful country, if you are a nature lover you will enjoy your time in NZ.
Likes (Indian Food): There are lots of Indian grocery stores in Auckland and you can get almost everything that you get in India. All the vegetables and the other things you find in a local grocery store you can get it here. All kinds of pickles, spices, lentils and other things you can get easily.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The job market is tiny and companies ask for local work experience. Companies can sponsor your visa if you're in an IT job and your skills are difficult to find. Management roles are not easily offered, one has to start from a different job role and then gradually move to your desired role.

Likes (Indian Food): I rated the food options from my country of origin 5 because the area around Massachusetts University offers a diverse range of authentic restaurants that cater well to my diet preference. The locality around the university features a variety of restaurants, including Indian, Italian, Chinese, and local New Zealand cuisine. Pricing varies with options for every budget; fast food joints and food courts offer meals around $10, while mid-range restaurants usually charge $20 per person. I prefer cooking for myself as it is more economical and allows me to tailor meals to my diet preference.
Dislikes (Internships): I rated internship opportunities 3 out of 5 due to limited availability influenced by the economic recession and a noticeable preference for local candidates, which can restrict opportunities for a larger student base. While the guidance provided for finding and applying for internships is very helpful with work on resume writing and interview preparation, the support lacks the personalised assistance and direct industry connection that could enhance internship accessibility. Although the internships are relevant in my field of QS, the scarcity of positions remains a significant challenge.

Best college in New Zealand for this course. Highly qualified staff and top class facilities.
Tips: Refer to some online sources to know more on NZ culture, mostly basic sense/ etiquettes. No scholarships were offered to me but check with university for more information on scholarship. Few students from economically weak countries were offered scholarships. I did my research and I am satisfied with how studying here turned out for me.
Likes (Safety): Helpline numbers are shared for reporting incidents/ seeking care & assistance of any kind. Auckland is quite happening if you love to visit good eateries, explore beaches and trail walks. Nothing bad that I have experienced so far, just try making a lot of friends wherever you go to share your experiences with and not feel lonely.
Dislikes (Internships): Ample guidance is available for finding internships from the university, but opportunities are limited. Internships are limited in this field in NZ. There are a few sites that offer internships ( paid/ unpaid), but very limited jobs are available, especially for freshers without experience. Freshers are expected to start from basic jobs to enter the industry if they can crack the interview with some practical knowledge/ knowing the latest industry trends.

Tips: I studied at Palmerston North campus. Professors are highly educated and the sports culture in the university is great with a variety of sports one can play on. Public transport is free in the city of Palmerston North for students. The university organises good events as well so you should try to socialize and participate in activities and events.

Make sure to find a good social support system. I did not avail any scholarships. I am very much satisfied with the university, the course and the country.
