Great faculty and highly engaging student life.
Tips: Students should be prepared to work hard since they'll be on their own a lot. The cultural shift was noticeable but manageable. The university has good faculty, but it's really up to you how you use it. Don't slack. Do lots of personal projects, go to career fairs, and network like crazy. Above all, though, if you're in IT, build a portfolio website. The country is safe and offers a warm welcome, and there are no other issues based on gender, sex or colour.

Heriot-Watt university where safety, peace and future lies ahead
Tips: First of all life and the thought process change after coming to a different country. Britain is a place where most people are open-minded hence coming from a religious background makes us think as normal human beings. I got a scholarship of 1500 pounds from my university for an interview that they conducted before providing CAS. University life was so good that never made me regret it during my entire course. United Kingdom is a place where nature is touched with development so the feel while living in Edinburgh is perfect. The course and the study structure are so good that enable us to get a deep understanding of the course as well as prepares us for the current engineering situation.
Likes (Student Life): I study at Heriot-Watt University at Edinburgh, the university is situated towards the countryside which has a nice view. This provides the peaceful experience that I and other students have at the university. Each day we would go to the university for our daily classes and is most enjoyable when we are friends with the professor. Our university conducts different events. The most fun is the beer festival which of course is one good experience. Participation in the events depends on our classes and the timing of the events. There are different student clubs that are active all throughout the year.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are wide variety of jobs here in UK which can obviously be found in the largest job-serving platform called "indeed". No matter what the job is the candidate must go through the interview process. The hiring people look into the candidate's capability of doing the work and the ability to adapt to their environment. The minimum wage in UK is 10.42 pounds so usually the starting salary range is around 21000 pounds. As we all know each job has its own value and the pay of the job lies in parallel to the nature of the work done. One thing I like to point out is about visa sponsorship, many companies offer work visa sponsorship and the number of companies that offer Tier-2 work visas is growing day by day. All the details of it can be found on the official website of UK Visa and Immigration. The chance of getting an offer for visa sponsorship depends on the candidate's performance in the company.

One of the best experience
Tips: There are scholarships provided at the start of the admission. You need to ask about those. The university is very particular about the assignments. Lots of skills are polished. Personality is developed overall. The country and university are really safe for students.
Likes (Student Life): There are lots of activities present in the student union. The library has an immense collection of books. The student union weekly has some other activities for students to keep them engaged. Games night, movies are also planned to make you feel less homesick.
Dislikes (Internships): The university helps in the preparation of CV and cover letter for applications. It helps you in interview preparation. They do not give interview opportunities. There are no on-campus placement options. The student has to take their own efforts to grab any internship.

Helpful teachers at Heriot Watt University.
Tips: Students can expect a great time studying here. The campus is amazing, classrooms are upbeat and equipped with modern technology. Faculty is up to the mark. Just hunt out for cheaper accommodation if you can near the campus to save on traveling cost.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The teachers are great here. Very helpful when it comes to taking special classes and attending student queries. They have a great sync-up with students and encourage doubts even after classes. Every professor is highly acclaimed and qualified to deliver great learning.
Dislikes (Value for money): The university is quite expensive when it comes to transportation and living. I am living with my relatives but still due to lack of time for pursuing part time opportunities, the cost goes way higher for students with a tight monthly budget. Fee is high as well.

Best campus experience. Good opportunities at HERIOT WATT UNIVERSITY.
Tips: With the number of international students here, it's a very easy transition just the weather is a little cold so be prepared for that. Other than that, feel right at home! Scholarships are available if you apply for them early on in the process. Overall, quite happy with my choice of course and the HERIOT WATT University is a beautiful place to live, would definitely consider studying here. Likes;- The university has a job board through which students can apply for part-time jobs and internships. However, they should also check LinkedIn regularly for any new openings. Often, professors and university staff post vacancies on LinkedIn as well as emails, so keep a tab on your emails as well. Dislikes;-Hostel may improve the taste of food.

This university is worth for money and a respectable one in Edinburgh.
Tips: Do research about your course details correctly before selecting one, go through the entire website for courses, accommodation and the living culture.
Talk to the seniors if have chance to contact them.
Join groups in social media to find the information.
Likes (Safety): High safety rules and always monitored in the city and inside university.
Good ethical safety culture maintained in the university. No need to worry on getting lost inside university as you can find security officials everywhere who can guide you.
Dislikes (Indian Food): If you can self cook, then you have no issues, if not then getting native food is expensive. You can still get ready to eat food inside university but not in large volume. If you have good baggage weight then pack good amount of packed foods from India itself.

A transformative leadership journey in a world-class business school.
Tips: Transitioning to the Batch MBA was seamless thanks to the intensive induction week which focused on team building and soft skills. An amazing aspect of the culture at Batch is the highly collaborative nonhierarchical classroom environment here each person's professional experience is equally valued. I received the Bath MBA Scholarship worth 12,000 which was awarded based on my leadership potential during the interview stage. I am extremely satisfied with the new School of Management building and the courses focus on practical learning about business and leadership. The city of Bath is beautiful safe and provides a perfect backdrop for a focused one year programme. Good experiences.

Vibrant and friendly student life.
Tips: Participate in most of the activities provided by the university apart from your course ones. If you wanna meet other people and interact with them, go for volunteer work, it's the most British way to help someone and meet new people. Also Bath is a very beautiful and vibrant place to live, it has lots of beautiful spots to visit and spend your day.
Likes (Safety): Bath was a very safe place you don't need to worry about the timings also whenever you are leaving your home. The university also provides a safe zone app if in case you are in a bad situation or not feeling well so you can just call for emergency and they are available 24 hours.
Dislikes (Value for money): The tuition fee was a little high but comparing it with the campus structure and lifestyle as well as activities provided by the university it was justified. It would make sense when you participate in activities other than your course one. Bath is a small and tourist place, everything was a little bit expensive. You can apply for scholarships provided by the university and they provide a lot of financial help.

A new culture but amazing experience.
Tips: The main cultural shift I saw was that we have a pub and bar on campus and you can even drink on campus. I did avail of a scholarship, which will be available once you get accepted to the university.
I love the university culture, the course is practical and the UK is a good option.
Likes (Student Life): The college life is pretty chill. I have my lectures in the afternoon for 3-4 hours. I enjoy the lake which we have on campus and the cafes are pretty good as well. So we have a lot of events organised by the college and there are Bollywood nights as well.
We have all kinds of sports and whatever you can think of.
Dislikes (Part time work): The part time job is easily available to the students and mostly the postgrads get the off campus jobs. It is easily manageable to work along with the academics.
The average payout per week is about 14-15 pounds per hour as the minimum hourly wage is 12 pounds per hour.

It has been a rewarding and challenging experience.
Tips: The faculty is excellent and the course design is fun. You get all the help you need and the city is beautiful. However it was also a little expensive. That said there are lots of great opportunities. There’s also a scholarship available for 35,000. It’s based on your essay and your academics.

The university is good. You shoud explore the city and be part of clubs.
Tips: Before you start university, be prepared to join societies and talk to new people. It will take time to adjust, so don't expect a glorious picture in the first few days. To get the most out of your university experience, explore different parts of the UK and get a part-time job. This will help you get out of your comfort zone and experience new things.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are amazing and really helpful. They are always approachable and keep a close eye on their students. They encourage students to talk to different people and join different societies. They also make sure that your mental health is fine at all times.
Dislikes (Value for money): It is definitely very expensive in comparison to the support from the university. The faculty is helpful but the money charged by the university does not compensate for it. It is a good university but you lead your own life. University lets people explore their own paths.

Great college experience; the transportation is affordable and accessible.
Tips: Students should budget carefully for expenses, utilise academic support, book accommodation options early, engage in societies, sports and events, engage with local customs and backgrounds, and develop time management and study skills. I have experienced high satisfaction with academies & facilities.
Likes (Safety): Bath is one of the safest cities in the UK. Being a student-friendly city public transport is quite accessible and out-of-campus accommodations are all provided with security vans. Personally, I never experienced any bad sightings in the city, but always be careful.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): I believe throughout my time at the University, I never faced issues with accessibility & approachability of the faculty, they were all really helpful. As far as teaching methodology is concerned, it's quite different from how we are taught in India and I found practical learning more useful than theoretical cramming.

Great exposure and new exciting beginnings!
Tips: Definitely a cultural shift. Become more financially independent. Better work environment and work-life balance. Good comfort of living but expensive. Great opportunities but a competitive job market. On a scale of 10, I am 8 satisfied with the university and course. As for the country itself, I would say 7 as weather, standard of living, and expenses can be overwhelming if you do not have an income.
Likes (Value for money): Great faculty with post-study placement support. The tuition fee is high generally but lesser compared to other universities offering anything similar or better. They offer opportunities for internships with companies they have ties with which is a great kickstart for our professional journey. Also provides lots of activities and programmes to engage with industry experts which opens new doors.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Less Indian shops. eg Mantra. Can explore foods from other cultures. Bath being a tourist city can be expensive at times. 1 meal can cost somewhere around 7 to 15 pounds and for a student may be least affordable on a day to day basis. I ate outside on weekends but other times cooked as the class schedule wasn't very tight. Rest can be adjusted from your place of work part-time restaurants etc.

A good sensed, liberal and a holistic university
Tips: This is an underdog university. The faculty, life and part time jobs are fun-loving in nature. People are liberal and so safe in the city. The modules are also career oriented. There is a good M.Sc. careers department which helps the students in enhancing their employability opportunities.

University of Bath - An Amazing Place to Study!
Tips: Be prepared to work on yourselves as an individual. University in general is quite different from school, there is no one that can improve your performance apart from yourself. The resources at Bath are endless, from fantastic faculty, employment help, award-winning societies and so much more. Use all of the resources available to you! It will pay off. Faculty are on stand-by to help students with literally whatever they need, students just need to make themselves open to learning and willing to work on themselves.
Likes (Safety): Bath is an incredibly safe city and the university is even safer still. Security is on call 24/7 and responds within minutes. There is an app (SafeZone) that has easy accessibility to security with just a press of a button. Security even extends off-campus and has picked up students from the city center when they are unable to travel on their own.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Unibus between the city center and the university isn't the best. The buses are often late, fully cramped and there are strikes often.
It isn't too much of a hassle but often is a bit annoying, especially for students living off-campus and for travel during off-term times.
