Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.2
Learning journey to a successful career.
Tips: Interest and self determination is a key to success at KTH. I did not receive a scholarship in both years 1 and 2. There are a few scholarships mainly merit based on year 1&2. The university and my course are the best; I have learned a lot both in academics and as a person.
Likes (Public transportation): One ticket for the whole of Stockholm. Easily commutable with many possible means of transport for one destination. Student ticket 650kr/ month. There are different modes of transport like buses, ferries, trams and metros. The KTH Main campus has the best connectivity with all modes.
Dislikes (Part time work): The on campus part time jobs are mainly teaching assistant and research assistant. There are not a lot of opportunities for non-Swedish speakers. But the jobs pay well and cover the expenses. The average pay is 120kr/hr, and there are part time jobs available outside the college campus too.

Master of Science in Production Engineering and Management - Batch of 2026
4.2
Technicalities, invention and innovation.
Tips: Before planning to join this university you should have better grades in your Bachelors as getting into KTH is not as easy as it is one of the top technical universities in the world. We have to change ourselves after our arrival here especially in terms of food, culture and lifestyle. Getting a scholarship is a stuffed thing here. If any incidents happen inside the campus they will be covered by the insurance provided by the university. If anything happens outside then you should be covered with insurance before your arrival. Transportation is available for 24 hours so you can travel even during nights without any hesitation as the cameras are installed in the vehicles. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with my choice of choosing KTH as my destination for my master's.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Even though many Indian restaurants are available they are too costly when compared to Swedish restaurants. You should learn a few things to cook as it will be fun and make you feel at home at least as I say. A lot of stores are available so, there won't be a problem with spices, snacks, and other groceries.

MSc Smart Electrical Networks and Systems (EIT InnoEnergy) - Batch of 2022
4.2
The best university for electrical engineering and amazing professors with industry knowledge.
Tips: Before joining this college students should be well prepared in the basics and familiar with tools like Matlab. They should also be good at Python as they will be required to complete assignments using Python and Matlab. In addition, students should be proficient in data analytics and presentation, as well as have good report-writing skills. The professors at this university were world-class and had written many books. The coursework was challenging and required a lot of critical thinking. The PhD program had a lot of high-quality output. Sometimes you could work on projects with PhD students.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There is only one canteen on campus and it is located in the library. It offers a limited selection of food. There is a Taiwanese restaurant across the street from the university but it is expensive. Fortunately you can cook your own meals in the kitchen in your room and pack a lunch.

MSc Renewable Energy (EIT InnoEnergy) - Batch of 2022
3.9
Sustainability and Innovation are at the core of KTH Royal Institute.
Tips: It's a beautiful city, the English language is spoken here in contrast to other European countries. There is more system based approach to teaching rather than pure science. Very accommodating for international students, a great platform for meeting people and pushing innovations. However, weather, the cold, and short/ long days can be very difficult to adjust to initially.

MSc Smart Electrical Networks and Systems (EIT InnoEnergy) - Batch of 2022
3.9
Marvelous research based university.
Tips: Students should know that the knowledge level transition is very significant. There are no scholarships. Overall, I am very much satisfied with the university course but the director's reach is very slow and sometimes not guiding well and it is very casual especially since the MSc SENSE course planning was not that good but the courses are very good with the professor's knowledge.
Likes (Safety): I felt safe on campus because everything was well organized, and there was support from student organizations. Sweden is a good country that is well-developed. However, the university did not provide any dedicated safety guides, assuming that students could handle themselves.
Dislikes (Internships): Sometimes it is very difficult to find internships and no guidance is given for the internships. There are no webinars regarding the internships. We need to search for internships. Sometimes professors can be impressed and can get the opportunity.

BEng in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2025
Offered by FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences
3.8
For me, it was a very mediocre experience from the start to finish.
Tips: If you're planning on headed to Germany for your Bachelors or Masters, honestly, try to hit that C1 level in German before you even get here. It makes life so much easier. Also, don't just wing it—do some proper digging into where you’re going to live, what your specific research field looks like, and just the general 'vibe' and etiquette of the area. It really helps to know the local unwritten rules before you land.
Likes (Indian Food): Have had plenty of options to find Indian food as well as Indian groceries. Although it differs from city to city about the pricing and quality, the thumb rule is where there is just one Indian shop, the owner would charge more. But it's better to cook for oneself than to go out. One more thing everyone should remember is that there is no such rule of MSP as we have in India.
Dislikes (Safety): Some bad experiences with local people being unwelcoming towards non-native people regardless of the situation other people are in. Plus, the local foreign office is outrageously competent, where even expats with exceptional skills are treated harshly.

4.1
Perfect mix between theoretical and practical learning with interesting subjects to offer.
Tips: The learning process and exams are quite different from India. They focus more on core knowledge development rather than simply teaching the theory. Many subjects include relevant Industry examples and the faculty themselves have decades of experience.
Likes (Value for money): There are no tuition fees as this is a public university. However we have to pay 300-400 euros per semester as semester contribution, which also includes Deutschlandticket and among other small contributions and thus covers all your travelling costs in the entire Germany.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are no campus placements in Germany. Students have to search for a job themselves. So it completely depends on the student and their commitment. In my experience, the way you prepare yourself after coming here defines your path forward. Applying to jobs is not enough, you need to share your profile with your network, including the faculty and supervisors and attend seminars, conferences, etc. All this will give you a better chance in future.
