Course is good, city provides good part time opportunities.
Tips: The system here is a bit different than our course structure, and assignments are quite important here. The university doesn't usually avail any major scholarships for master's students apart from a 3 lakh scholarship on admission, but it is possible to get a scholarship for a PhD if the student is willing to extend their master's to a PhD. Even if there are no internship programs provided by the uni, they have a career fest where students get an opportunity to connect with alumni and industry professionals, which is good for a fresher.
Likes (Safety): Good town and locality, fairly good part-time options. Got a large community of Indians nearby and stay options. Good teachers, the lab facilities are a bit rusty, but the course structure is still good. Faculties are knowledgeable. If made use of faculties and other events in uni, like career fest students can make good connections which may help them secure a place in the industry.
Dislikes (Internships): University doesn't provide internship opportunities for overseas students. If students secure an A in both semesters, they can opt to do research work in their third semester, which can be beneficial for those who intend to do a PhD after this master's. But none of these are easy, and students should expect a struggle at first.

It is the not most extravagant of the institutions, but is one of the best at what it does.
Tips: The country is generally welcoming towards Indians and other immigrants. People are sweet and warm. Yes, I did receive an academic scholarship of about 5000 dollars. It was already discounted on my tuition fee at the time of my enrollment based on the marks from the previous qualification.
Likes (Indian Food): The Indian diaspora is very active in New Zealand, and so is the Indian cuisine. So one would not miss out on their favorite Indian food, but mind you, they are generally on the pricier side.
There are a lot of northern Indian cuisines with a few South Indian restaurants in the city of Christchurch, where I lived.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Companies rarely sponsor visas for graduate students for work. Most students rely entirely on the post-study work visa offered by the government after their studies. During this period, if a person finds the experience, pay scale, and other immigration regulations, they could apply for a resident visa.

Balanced experience with strong opportunities for self growth.
Tips: Teaching is mostly PPT- based, so self learning and staying updated with industry trends are important. Assignments follow APA7 format, so basic knowledge of it helps. The transition was manageable, but adjusting to independent learning and balancing everything took time. I did not receive a merit-based scholarship as it was not there for us at our time for our University for few countries including India. I am satisfied, but success here depends largely on personal effort.
Likes (Indian Food): There are plenty of Indian restaurants near the university and across Perth, making it easy to find authentic food from home. There are many Indian, Asian and fast-food options nearby. Most meals range between 15-25, with some affordable takeaway choices for students. I prefer cooking at home as I'm health conscious and want to save money as a student. I only eat out occasionally for a change.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is knowledgeable but most of the teaching is done directly from PPT slides. We often need to update ourselves with the latest technologies and industry trends to stay job-ready. There is room for more practical and interactive learning. The department mainly follows a PPT- based teaching approach along with presentations and group assignments. Most assignments must be submitted in APA7 format, which was very new and challenging for me at the beginning. Over time, it helped me improve my research and writing skills.

Waste of money and resources.
Tips: I would prefer not to go to this university if one is going for any business degree. I would prefer Curtin University and UWA more than ECU because I never felt like studying for a Masters degree. The grading structure is designed in such a way that students stress about passing rather than being creative and learning new things. The scholarships were not available for Indian students here but for some rural backward countries. I would suggest one to go to Australian colleges rather than universities because the fees in college are merely 40% of the university prices and one can enrol in several online courses with the rest of the money and build up their resume Linkedin and connections.
Likes (Indian Food): The food business is booming in Western Australia. You can find different cuisines in the various parts of Perth. If one does not like hotel food, people provide tiffin services of home cooked food with good quality and a reasonable price. The food items available such as fruits and vegetables are of premium quality.
Dislikes (Internships): The quality of study services is poor and leads to less chances of scoring good internships. Moreover, companies prefer domestic students over international students. Also some people took advantage of students to get their work done on internships without compensation. For an entry level person, there is not much probability of scoring a good internship and a job easily irrespective of your scores and GPA.

Very few opportunities exist.
Tips: No cultural shift. I had my scholarship, university, and the course is okay, not very good. The curriculum should be changed according to the market. University doesn't help you get into the job market. Professors are not as helpful as others in guiding you to make your space in the market.
