Students who are looking for a vibrant, always-active campus life may find this aspect underwhelming unless they actively participate in clubs or student organisations. Montclair State University offers a strong academic foundation and proximity to New York City. A significant number of students do not live on campus, which results in a quieter atmosphere, especially during weekends. Tips: Prepare that your ultimate goal in United States is to excel professionally. Keep in my mind that most of you are going to come to States for graduate-level courses, and you will land a better job if the US market is favourable. So the majority of your success is dependent on your city and not your college.
Likes (Quality of faculty): A regular day in college start depending on you courses. At Masters level all your major classes will be scheduled during night time to accommodate all the part-time work that you will have in the morning. College has a good recreational area which is where I spent most of my days apart from academia.
Dislikes (Part time work): Faculty members are pretty much approachable and accessible. Also the teaching and methodology are helpful and guiding. University is pretty diverse in nature and serves as an opportunity to interact with multiple people of different ethnic backgrounds with a welcoming nature.
