If you’re priority is good salary and less fees rather than good college life choose NCI
Tips: NCI is not for freshers, if you have 2+ years of experience, then you'll get the best ROI possible. Be practical about choosing your course and be prepared for a very tough year, but things get better after that. There are better colleges in Ireland, but NCI provides the same opportunities in very less feels.
Likes (Part time work): You can easily get part time and the minimum wage here is enough to survive and save. The government allows 20 hours a week, which gives you enough time and money to study and live comfortably. Mostly, students opt for part-time work and can navigate through multiple options.
Dislikes (Internships): The internships in Ireland are time-consuming and do not compensate you for the time you put in. Part-time work is a better option in Ireland. If money is not a problem, then internships are good here. You will get good options, and they help in scoring a job later on.

A Good Cyber Security Experience in Dublin
Tips: Studying at NCI has been a positive experience, but students need to prepare themselves for the transition to entering a new country with a new academic lifestyle. The city of Dublin is very multicultural and welcoming, but the cost of living in this city is very high, and particularly housing costs are quite high, hence, it is necessary for students to have adequate money and a budget plan. The M.Sc. Cyber Security program is an independent study program and requires the student to have continuous learning and submit assignments outside classroom hours. Students need to keep realistic expectations for part-time employment and post-study job opportunities, as they will take some time to find.
Likes (Indian Food): All sorts of places to eat and different foods can be found. But the problem is that they cost a lot, and it seems to me that not everything about their quality and taste is worth such prices. I advise you to cook for yourself if you have the opportunity.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The current situation is very tough when it comes to finding part-time jobs in Ireland. For most students, it can take around 6-7 months to land a part-time job. For full-time opportunities, until you receive Stamp 1G (post-study visa), job applications can keep getting rejected because of work permission requirements. Even after getting Stamp 1G, finding a full-time job is not easy. It can take another 6-12 months or more, depending on various factors such as the job market, experience, skills, and the role. This situation applies to both experienced students and fresh graduates. Regarding job roles, there are graduates/entry level opportunities available across companies for freshers, while experienced students generally need to identify and apply for opportunities that match their existing experience and skills. Ultimately, the post-study job search depends heavily on Stamp 1G, your profile, experience, skills, the job market, and other individual factors.

Tips: Keep your legal documents handy, do not take a lot of clothes from India just carry lots of masala and indian food (Lodoo, quick meal). Research everything about transport and euro conversion. Smoking is Expensive (18 $ a packet). Take all your loans in Account, sometimes it takes a month to transfer INR to Euro.
Likes (Safety): It's safe in Ireland. People don't bother you until they are drunk or have bad intentions. Also, Garda is helpful here. If you have indulged in anything on the road. Quickly report that to the Garda, they will help you. Also, you SEE a lot of scams in Europe, like 45 $/H deals. Stay away from them. QUICK MONEY IS A SCAM IN EUROPE!
Dislikes (Internships): You are on your own when it comes to searching for a job. Campus can only review your resume and ask you to apply for some mostly irrelevant jobs. Which can chatGPT or Claude can do in 10 min. After graduation, you are on your own with the job hunt. You need to focus on building connections to take a job.

A Good Learning Experience with Great Exposure
Tips: Before joining, students should be prepared for a more independent learningn style and should make use of the resources and support available from the college. Moving to ireland was a big change for me, especially adjusting to a new culture, weather and way of learning, but I gradually became comfortable and adapted to the lifestyle. I received a scholarship towards my tuition fees, which helped reduce the overall financial burden. Overall, I am satisfied with my university and course, especially because it gave me good exposure to cloud computing and helped me develop skills relevant to my career. I also enjoyed living in Ireland and experiencing a different culture.
Likes (Indian Food): Since there are many Indian cuisine choices that range from South Indian, North Indian, vegetarian, or non-vegetarian eateries. The prices depend on what type of eatery, which ranges from 15-25 Euros per individual. In my case, I mostly like to prepare my meals at home since it is cheaper, healthy, and gives me the chance of eating what I am familiar with. At other times, I also like to eat out when I want to try different types of cuisine.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I have awarded this question 3 marks because, although there are chances to settle permanently in Ireland, permanent migration is surely not an easy task. I believe that there are good chances that I will be able to settle down permanently in this country because I am building my career in this country after studying and working here. If I get such a chance, I would prefer to settle permanently in Ireland.

Diverse place, mixed quality.
Tips: Try to be experienced and well skilled in the subjects before starting a master's, as students have managed a lot of things once they arrive in Dublin. Be a quick learner and be aware of the skills that are crucial for the Irish job market. Do not try to outsource your assignments.
Likes (Public transportation): I gave transport 5/5 because NCI's location in the IFSC is unbeatable for commuting. The Red Line LUAS drops you off literally right at the doorstep at Mayor Square, so getting to lectures from anywhere in Dublin is completely stress-free. On top of that, Connolly Station is just a short 10-minute walk away if you're taking the DART or regional Irish Rail trains, and tapping with a student Leap Card keeps your daily fare capped and cheap.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The curriculum is well structured, but students have to rely more on self-preparation. Concepts are often introduced well, but regular practice is required to become skilled and job-ready. NCI’s career team is really helpful in providing mentorship regarding the job hunt even after finishing a master's.

NCI expects the student to complete assignments independently and on time and to participate actively in the projects. At NCI, you really have to stay on top of your continuous assessments and actually show up to lectures. Professors expect you to carry your own weight in group projects, and keeping your attendance up is something they take pretty seriously.
Likes (Value for money): The study at this college is more engaged between students and faculty. There are different kinds of projects given by faculty where students can gain hands-on experience and enhance their skills. Students also can make use of careers services on campus so that students can have enhanced CV writing skills, and also it will be useful for interview preparation. The lecturers in the college are more approachable and always help the students with any subject matters and projects.
Dislikes (Part time work): The part-time work in Ireland is a bit challenging compared to other countries. Yes, we will be having plenty of opportunities for part-time work on campus. And there will be strong competition from many students, locals included, with international students globally. Tips: Tbh, everything looks great to me, like my course was something that I was looking for, and also I got a 4000 euro scholarship for my MSc, which helped a lot. Culturally, yeah, it takes a little time to adapt, but it's nothing out of this world. If you are from India, you are already comfortable with a different bunch of people, as we have diversity in our country as well, so yeah, it will take a little time, but you will be good.
Likes (Student Life): You will meet some good bunch of people across the globe, and, of course, student life is good. Like, there’s a student union where you can get into clubs and societies if you’re interested in anything specific. Like, I was part of a dance society, which was great, and also there are always cultural events going on, also a Diwali event if that matters.
Dislikes (Internships): There is no such thing as college placement or university placement; if you get one, you have to get one on your own, so try to hunt for a job on your own, and universities usually have classes for careers, and they will give you tools to apply for jobs, which will help, but doing your own research will help a lot.

Most intensive course and hard to manage
Tips: You must know the basics of the course that you are taking because it's a 1-year course and it was so intense that you feel a bit faster. The lectures will go faster as per their timeline, and they will help you when you are on labs and the assignments are very tough.
Likes (Internships): Because college itself doesn't offer any internships, but you need to find them yourself, and the market is so hard here to crack any job offer because there are many people who are competing with you even for a small job; there is a lot of competition. If you want to survive, you need to be smart.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are good, but compared to India, the teaching style is quite different. You feel a lot of difference, and the classes are so intense because it's a one-year course where you feel so overwhelmed and so stressed because you need to manage both studies and part-time work at the same time.

Tips: Money-wise, NCI has a really solid international scholarship that knocks about €4,000 to €5,000 straight off your tuition fees. The best part is that they don’t set the entry requirements ridiculously high or make you jump through impossible hoops to get it. The grade threshold is kept incredibly fair, so a massive chunk of us actually end up getting it, which takes a huge financial weight off your shoulders when you're moving to Dublin.
Likes (Public transportation): There's a Luas stop right in front of the college. And also a bus stop at a mere 50-100 meter walkable distance. The city center (Aspire) is just a 10-minute walk from the college. The college lies right at the heart of Dublin. Getting around the city from campus is super easy because there are tons of cycling options right outside the college. You can easily grab one of the city's DublinBikes rentals close by, and since the IFSC area is pretty flat and compact, riding a bike is usually the quickest way to get around anyway.
Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus part-time jobs are available. Keeping up with the right connections will help you land the part-time job. The part-time role will be a lab assistant tutor. So it'll be really helpful if you can squeeze the best out of it. The average payout for part-time is 14 euros now. And the legal limit during studies is 20 hours.

I would say this college is good and there are great faculties with high experience
Tips: Before you step foot into NCI, do yourself a massive favor and get a solid head start on the basics of whatever course you’ve picked—you really don't want to show up completely blank on day one. Also, a major piece of advice: look for your own accommodation outside of the college-run housing. The student residence options are honestly ridiculously expensive and will drain your budget in no time, though obviously, your financial situation and what you're comfortable with is entirely up to you. Just start hunting for a place in Dublin early, because the market is tough, and avoiding those steep campus rent prices makes a massive difference.
Likes (Student Life): I would like to say that there are a lot of co-curricular activities which help you connect with everyone.
I felt even the college is main in the city centre.
There is no problem with the commutation as well you have a tram stop [Luas] in front of the college
Dislikes (Internships): Actually, I didn't find much that was helpful regarding the internship. There were fewer opportunities, I felt. But if you are in a good book with any of the lecturers, they might help you land a job in college itself as an assistant to the particular professor.

Tips: You won't feel major cultural shift once you came here because students will share accommodation with indians and in part-time jobs as well there will be one or two indians doing part-time job there. Scholarships will completely depends on the college if they like student profile they will offer scholarships, there are some government bodies in india those will also offer scholarships or less interest on the education loan, coming to my college experience it is good all lectures are welcoming and ready to help and my course is bit tough because we have pen and paper exams only for my course rest all courses have assignments and projects. If you have good skills and experience students can get good opportunities and weather is not that good here.
Likes (Indian Food): In Ireland, you've got maybe five or six main types of Indian spots that cover the usual veg and non-veg stuff. To be honest it’s a bit of a hit or miss situation as you might find one place with a great curry but their other dishes are just okay. No single spot really nails the whole menu. Thankfully there’s actually plenty of Indian grocery stores around here these days, so you can pretty much find all the right spices and stuff to just cook everything yourself at home anyway.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Job searching is hard here after a master's. If a candidate has 5-plus years of experience, then chances of getting a job are somewhat good; otherwise, it's tough to get a job. If a candidate doesn't have any prior experience, it's better not to choose Ireland. Most of the companies are not ready to sponsor. If a candidate got a good package, they can do self-sponsorship only if the company is willing to give a proof-of-work letter.

Gateway to come and stay in ireland
Tips: There will be little nervousness after coming here. Later it will be as usual, like in India, after a few months; for me, I felt nothing bad till now. There will be some default scholarships for every student based on the marks in earlier courses. It's not the best I can say, but overall it's okay to study here and stay in Ireland.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is the best in Dublin City. There are many transportation options to reach anywhere in Ireland from Dublin. There are trains, buses, Luas cycles, etc. Public transportation can be many ways, covering many areas in Dublin's city center to multiple parts.
Dislikes (Internships): Internships are less in number and have a huge competition. It's very better to apply before start of going college as it's takes almost 8-10 months of application process, so when already graduated, they no longer consider for internships. Student must be in college while joining internships.

A Supportive, Diverse, and Career-Focused Learning Experience.
Tips: Look, if you’re actually thinking of coming over, just know it’s a really welcoming spot—especially if you're moving from abroad like I did. My first few weeks were honestly way smoother than I'd expected. There was definitely a bit of a culture shock at first, mostly just getting used to how much they expect you to do on your own and even just the way people talk, but it wasn't nearly as scary as I’d feared. The staff are so helpful and everyone is really chill, so I ended up settling in way faster than I thought I would.
I checked out the scholarship stuff when I was applying and the uni is actually pretty open about how it all works. Obviously, not everyone gets one, but as long as you keep an eye on the dates, it’s easy enough to figure out. I'm just really glad I made the move. The course feels like it’ll actually be useful for a real job, and Ireland itself is great—it feels safe and the vibe is just super inclusive. If you're ready to just dive in, you’ll have a blast.

Tips: I recommend making international friends and stepping out of the comfort zone! Network as much as possible. Apply for jobs from Day 1. I didn't apply for any scholarships. I am going to give a 3/5 rating to my university and course. I am satisfied with the country! It shaped me into a better person, and I learned amazing values and cultures plus made lifelong friends.
Likes (Student Life): I attended daily lectures, which were quite engaging! Especially the office hours where I could have a 1:1 with the professors! There was flair all the way from the art fair to careers! I was the course representative, so I highly recommend doing the same.
Dislikes (Internships): There are occasional career fairs one should definitely attend and network! There are internships available, although I recommend applying from Day 1. Network with seniors and have a 1:1 with professors regarding your job search. They help you out in the best way possible!

A balanced review for QMUL
Tips: The cultural shift was positive. Different culture, but people were friendly since everyone is an immigrant and treats others kindly. I got a 3000-pound global merit scholarship from the university. I applied for it through the university website. I'm extremely happy that I chose the country and city, and I'm quite happy with my university choice and course.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is very well connected. The bus stop is right outside the campus and the Stepney green and mile end tube stations are a 2-minute walk The public transport is not very affordable, though I think the bus is on the cheaper side for the whole day cap-wise. It is also very convenient.
Dislikes (Value for money): I think I am very neutral; hence, the 3 rating. The course was good, but I didn't learn anything exceptional that I wouldn't have in India. Though the experience was good, I think even if you go to any other college in India for your M.Sc., you might end up paying around 10 lakhs. Mine was 35, which was a little higher, but I guess I would recommend it for everyone for a different experience.

Tips: A new country definitely calls for a lot of transition. There is a cultural shift in the way you interact with professors and your fellow students. However, when in doubt, it's easier to clear this out with the professors or any staff that is ready to help through this. On the whole, the course is well designed with a masterclass that runs a project throughout from scratch, and it ends with a partnership capstone project where you can SEE live how to apply what you've learned in a real-world setting. SO I am personally satisfied with the course, and if you prefer a Russell Group university in a not-so-student-code city, it would be QMUL.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty for the School of Business and Management is always ready to solve questions or doubts raised by the students. Be it through office hours or in the class, active discussions are prompted, and they make sure classes are not just for assignments.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The UK as a country for permanent immigration comes with stricter rules and visa processes that are easier for more experienced professionals than for straight-out-of-university students. For students after university going into post-study work visas, the range of jobs, though available, is significantly lower to get into. For professionals it is suggested to find a job that can sponsor your visa. Given the time spent and the immigration rules changing during the course of your study, you can then think about permanent settlement, as there is no defined path yet.

Tips: You definitely need to brace yourself for the winters and make sure you sort out a place to stay before you head over. Honestly, your best bet is probably to just book an Airbnb for a month or two, and then you can hunt for a proper long-term place once you're actually on the ground in the UK. Aside from that, my uni experience was actually really good. Securing a job is very difficult in the western world irrespective of what university you get into. I consider myself lucky that I was able to get one. Regarding the uni, professors were quite knowledgeable and approachable, but I believe that the reason I was able to secure a job was because I was passionate about the world of finance and how the world works.
Likes (Public transportation): One of the very few campuses in London with a full-fledged campus, very close to central London with multiple tube stations around. Students have multiple accommodation options within the campus, so most of you would not require traveling by public transportation.
Dislikes (Internships): The university does not provide internships; any university, for that matter, in the UK, does not actively provide internships; it is up to the student to find one and build a strong profile. However, with university being in London and being part of the Russell Group, it does provide an edge.

One of the best law schools
Tips: Settling in London was a massive shock at first honestly. I did not know a single soul here at first so trying to find my feet in the city was honestly just pure stress. But everything got way easier once I actually made a few friends. Looking back I'm just really glad I made the jump—the vibe here is genuinely unmatched. It helps that QMU London is a solid Russell Group uni—their law school is honestly top-tier. Plus, I managed to snag a £2,000 merit scholarship from them just based on my undergrad grades, which definitely helped out with the bills.
Likes (Internships): I've given five stars for the internship opportunities. The university itself provides internship opportunities to its students. There is a dedicated portal for the students who want to apply for jobs and internships where internships and jobs are posted regularly; because of this, I have rated it very high.
Dislikes (Part time work): I gave four stars for part-time opportunities and jobs. When I first got here, I was aggressively applying everywhere, but my friends told me I should just walk into shops physically and ask them face-to-face. Luckily that worked and I snagged a job working 16 hours a week. I was making the minimum wage back then, which was £12.21 an hour, and I'd just schedule my shifts on the days I didn't have any classes.

Dislikes (Public transportation): The public transportation in London is very well collected and very well established. It is one of the oldest public transport system that consist of underground trains and overground trains and national railway; buses that run all around London. The only downside that I can say about the public transport here is that it's Harsh on the pockets of the students, though students have the option of getting a travel card on their student Oyster card.

Too expensive for a degree, but overall an average experience.
Tips: People believe the country will look like it is in the movies, hence they come with a lot of expectations. Unfortunately, it's not. The campus life is mixed with diverse cultures, and we will all meet someone from our own culture. Everyone who performed well in their previous education gets access to the Global Talent Scholarship, amounting to 3000 pounds during my time. Overall university experience, I would give 3/5.
Likes (Indian Food): I personally believe there are a lot of shops nearby, and a bit of a walk would solve all the problems from where I have been. Coming from India, I liked staying in my accommodation since it's located in zone 2 and is accessible to a tube station. There are a lot of grocery stores available that would enable one to cook their own food as well, from Lidl to Sainsbury's.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It's really difficult to get into a full-time sponsored job in this country. With strict immigration laws and the advancement of AI, one needs to stand out really well from others to get into the desired role. Personally, for me, getting a part-time job was difficult, but I managed somehow. With temporary settlement being this difficult, imagine permanent settlement.

You learn a lot and experience growth in many ways.
Tips: I would say choose a university based on your course and the modules offered there. Check for scholarships. I got a scholarship but at QMUL you do not need to apply; they send you a confirmation saying to submit a SOP of why they need to give a scholarship, after which you are picked to get one. I am very satisfied with the course.
Likes (Student Life): All classes were good. I liked my finance classes, complex network class. I used to do my work mostly in the library which is huge. SBM students also have access to Bloomberg labs. All events are well organised. I would suggest participating in everything. You meet people and learn different things and get to know a lot of stuff. I am in a few clubs. I loved being a Student venture capitalist and also an active member at the student union.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The Curve offers you good food for 10-15 pounds for a meal. Or you can always find meal deals in Sainsbury's and Tesco or other food places near campus.
I sometimes used to cook but you have a variety of options for food in and near the campus. Outside the campus you get meal deals for around 6 pounds.

Tips: Speaking about the transition that I went through, that was pretty much smooth except the first week which was difficult for me as it was a new country but I already had a few friends that were living here for the last two years so they helped me to settle in. Getting a part time job can be challenging in the UK but with the proper support from the university I got my part time job within two months of joining the university. They have a separate site where they help students in creating their resume and they also list part time jobs there.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Because of the present events that have taken place. The laws introduced by the UK government restrict PSWP from 24 months to 18 months and there has been an increase in the sponsorship fee as well.

Tips: My transition was quite challenging during the initial days. I took support of the University's mental well-being, society. They help me in settling in and I would suggest that if any of you find it difficult to settle in, there is always a mental will in society in every UK University; they are very kind to help, even if it is the smallest of matters. This thing at my university really impresses me. I received a scholarship of 4000. I am satisfied with my university and faculty members.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Exposure, the quality of teaching that London has been unmatched, was given at the University of London. After 1 year of Masters I found myself improved and change human being because of the exposure that I got from the faculty and peers here. This is something I remember and carry forward for all of my life.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Permanent immigration settlement, according to me in the current situation, the United Kingdom is not worth it as it used to be. Taxes are very high and living expenses as well, and if you talk about the opportunities, I think personally, there are more opportunities in India.

Quality education; gradually increasing crime rate.
Tips: Talking about the transition that I went through after coming from India here in the UK, it was quite challenging in the initial days while I was trying to settle in. We were two friends who came together for studies, so we managed somehow during the initial days, as time passed, made new friends and adapted ourselves to this new country. The quality of the faculty is just amazing. The professors have all the knowledge of their subjects. Just the professor of business schools. Call experience of real life, businesses and our classes were held in such an interactive way that it never felt like a theoretical class; it was a practical class. We always had a guest lecture after the second half of our classes.
Dislikes (Safety): Crime has significantly increased in recent times. People say that this is because of the illegal immigrants, but God knows what the reason behind it, it's no safer than it used to be, with multiple events involving international students. Being stabbed has been reported since my arrival, to be honest. I also feel scared while walking out alone at night.

Talking about the city, I expected more from London as it was my dream city since childhood.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport provides great connectivity in the UK. Also, internationally, you can take a train from London to Paris. It's that good that I would like to give it to a student, get the student twister as soon as you and get it liked with the rail. You'll get 30% discount on every rail trip.
Dislikes (Safety): Safety is one of the major concerns and the recent issue is in the city of London. There have been multiple cases of students being stepped on mentally. Students who are coming to London should be extremely careful about taking their phones out of their pockets in busy areas.

The UK's recession and Queen Mary's excellent education.
Tips: Before joining, one should consider the current scenario in the United Kingdom. This lack of jobs here right now is going through a period of bad choices. They are currently committing illegal immigration. So getting a job can be difficult. If you're coming here, be prepared for facing rejections while applying, though the university provides some good exposure. Lifetime exposure for me as I was not looking for the jobs here.
Likes (Post study jobs): Queen Mary University of London has a separate portal dedicated to the students where they can search for graduate jobs. All the jobs are listed there, and if you're lucky, you can get one as well. Also, provide personal support to the student applying for the jobs and graduate roles. For my course, the usual starting salary is 30,000 per.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I would say that three star rating is justified for the permanent immigration option. This is because of the lack of jobs. There is so much hardship and finding a graduate job United Kingdom. It's no more than you graduate and immediately get a job. There is a lot of struggle behind it takes one year to get a job, and continuous hard work. Good job, considering the session chances are quite low.
