My Review on Robert Gordon University.
Tips: RGU have some scholarship scheme for international students. But you have to look for it one intake earlier. If you miss that, still have a chance of getting 2000 pounds. For that scholarship one need to apply during application process rest the facilities were good and the accommodation were also familiar with the environment you love and the course were well and exams were so structured in the ways as it was need to be.
Likes (Value for money): As it's is a well known university students get admission by clearing exams as well and all the faculty members here were of top standerd and were very supportive and having an extensive knowledge about the subjects and were experts in their particular area also the course offering in the college were too good the course curriculum covers all the portion from basic to advance related to subjects also the class was so energetic that you not feel bored. That is the thing I love about this college and were very good that I recommend others.
Dislikes (Part time work): As Of Now The Part Time Work was Manageable to do but you need to manage a lot in your studies and your living as an overseas student also there were lots of options available for part time jobs and you can get paid well in indian Rupees it's around 25, 000 - 31, 500 the roles were hotel staff, Shopkeeper, etc. but I Guess that the more time you spend on your studies the more returns you get rest all depends upon you how you were able to manage things.

Career-Focused Education in a Stunning, Supportive Environment
Tips: Before joining RGU, students should know that the coursework is highly practical. You’ll be assessed on real-world industry projects rather than just memorizing for exams, so be prepared for engaging, hands-on learning. Also, definitely pack for Aberdeen's weather—it can be quite chilly and windy!
My transition was incredibly smooth, largely thanks to RGU's welcoming community. The biggest cultural shift was adapting to the independent, fast-paced style of UK university learning and the crisp Scottish climate. However, Aberdeen locals are famously friendly and polite, which made settling into a completely new country feel effortless.
I was fortunate to receive the RGU International Student Discount. The best part was the hassle-free process—I didn't even have to submit a separate application. It was automatically applied to my offer letter based on my eligibility as a self-funded international student. The allowance was a £3,000 discount toward my tuition fees, which significantly helped manage my educational expenses.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my entire experience. The university’s modern facilities and career-focused course have exceeded my expectations, providing exactly the professional edge I wanted. Additionally, Scotland is a breathtaking, safe, and vibrant country. Having the stunning Scottish Highlands right on our doorstep while enjoying Aberdeen's bustling, student-friendly city life has made studying here truly unforgettable.
Likes (Part time work): Part-time work gets a 5 from me, which is partly down to Aberdeen being so accustomed to having students in employment whilst they study.
RGU also offers some part-time jobs on the campus itself, such as Student Ambassadors, Library Assistants, or working at one of the cafes on campus. These positions are advertised through the student portal, meaning you don’t even need to look. There are always opportunities off campus as well, ranging from shops in Union Street to bars and restaurants or possibly some office/administrative work if you would prefer not to work in the retail sector.
Fitting it into university life is relatively easy. As stated above, the on-campus jobs will fit around your timetable, and as Aberdeen is full of students, many off-campus employers will be aware that you need to attend lectures or have deadlines.
The pay is fairly reasonable, as a student job goes. Most of the jobs offered both on- and off-campus offer similar salaries – in particular the National Living Wage (currently £12.71 per hour) – with any retail or hospitality positions off-campus paying the relevant age-based minimum wage. If working in a restaurant/bar, you may earn tips as well.
Thus, a 5. It helps with the bills, and it looks good on a CV.
Dislikes (Student Life): I begin my day in the lovely Garthdee campus, adjacent to the River Dee. After interactive and practical classes, I usually find time to study at the contemporary Sir Ian Wood Building library, which has beautiful views of the river, or go to RGU SPORT to relax. It’s great that all of this is accompanied by a very professional and career-oriented attitude, where everything is useful and practical. RGU organizes a wide variety of events. First of all, there are big career fairs and industry lectures for professional development. For social life, there are many cultural events, wellness weeks, and fundraising campaigns. I often take part in them—I attend career events to develop professionally and social pop-ups to relax and meet other people. The community aspect is simply amazing, because there are clubs for everybody. Due to our riverside location and RGU SPORT, sports such as rowing and rock climbing are very popular. Moreover, there are academic societies for networking and support from peers, and cultural and hobby societies as well. These friendly communities will help you to make friends for life.

Great and fun student life.
Tips: Student life here moves at its own rhythm and initially it took me some time getting used to as I had taken a break after my undergrad but once I started getting used to it; it became quite peaceful. The environment is easy going and academic and people are always willing to help. The campus is a bit in the countryside so if you are keen on exploring other parts you might have to dedicate a weekend or so.

Have learnt a lot in my journey here.
Tips: Quite interesting experiences and classes are held in a more practical and research based manner. The weather is unpredictable but mostly on the colder side and we are used to carrying an umbrella with us almost everywhere. There are a few popular Indian food places as well but it can become expensive if you're living on a budget. A good place.

Figuring things out along the way.
Tips: I was able to find my place here owing to various reasons including my batchmates, the administration and most importantly, the close knit Indian community which made me feel a bit more like home especially on festival days. The environment is competitive especially when it comes to job opportunities and sponsorship. I feel that the university can play a bigger role when it comes to placements and job prospects. Good experiences all along.

Great to find your footing.
Tips: I found the vibe here quite positive and motivating. There are students from all over the world along with clubs and societies for every other niche interest one might have here. You will find yourself maturing much more than you might have initially imagined because this place has a way of making one more independent and self reliant. Good people around and I have felt quite comfortable, welcome and safe.

Good for the experience.
Tips: Things have been quite adventurous and unexpected from the very beginning but it has made for some great memories for me. The culture shock is not as bad as I had imagine but it does take some time getting used to the social dynamics and expectations here. Professors expect quality work and they are direct in their approach and feedback which is why I have learnt to become more practical and result oriented over time.

Safe and peaceful to study.
Tips: Suffolk has a pretty secure and comfortable environment for all students especially internationally. I have felt pretty safe here and classes have not been particularly hard to keep up with which was reassuring. My peers and professors both have helped out when needed and there are also scholarships that help in making studying here a possibility which the administration usually has information about. Overall, very satisfied.

Ideal student life with interactive classes.
Tips: I found my experience smooth yet uncertain in the long run. Cultural transition isn't too much other than trying to follow the local accent and reading social cues. The currency gap is massive and continues to increase so you will have to save and budget to the best of your ability. There are supermarkets and retail stores around in case you need anything.

Work life balance is crucial.
Tips: I have found the campus and university to be a focused and peaceful place to study and my courses have been quite practical and career focused as well. My programme also requires a certain level of technical proficiency and the resources for international students have been super helpful in setting up things for us which has made the transition smoother.

Interesting and interactive classes.
Tips: Ipswich is a very college oriented town but there are very few tech companies here so networking and work prospects can fall short if you're looking locally. Campus is very safe and student friendly and classes are interactive. Clubs are small but active and people are very uninterrupted.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time jobs are present but hard to find. For on campus roles, you can get roles such as in the library and support roles. Off campus roles can include work in Tesco, primary and other local joints and cafes. Do not exceed 20 hours, as it is not legal.

Peaceful and promising experience.
Tips: Ipswich is a relatively peaceful town and not as loud and chaotic as most universities usually are. Great for focused learning and professors are easily approachable as well. Administration has been very helpful during registration and banking. The weather was a big adjustment as it can rain literally anytime.
