The university of diverse cultures and friendly learning environment.
Tips: As an international student, it was difficult at first. But, students should be prepared to live life here as it is thousands of miles away from home. I think that you should take a chance. Now I feel like everyone is a big family, and people are very supportive and helpful. SIUE has diverse faculty from different backgrounds. All the professors are very knowledgeable and understanding. Professors always help their students to excel in class and make them learn everything in a better way. I also met a lot of professors from my own country, which shows diversity. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It's not as easy as it seems to get a Green Card here, and most students cannot stay here indefinitely after graduation. In addition, if you want to apply for citizenship, you need a minimum of a Ph.D. Getting an H-1B visa is difficult, though, as there are limited slots and the application process is like a lottery system. I think that settling here is difficult.

Extraordinary campus life experience.
Tips: The college understands student culture. During my Masters, all the university professors taught us to grow and enhances our skills during the course and my advisor was excellent. My preferences were in sports, food and study. The campus allows us to learn about different cultures and different languages. The university has different associations with NASA and many more such organisations.
Likes (Post study jobs): After the completion of my course, the university allows us to go for an internship and after that, it might convert into full-time job with a good pay scale. All the students learn how to implement functions and in a systematic manner. Most students get a job before completion of their study.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): There is diversification. We learn new and different cultures and food customs here.
This allows us to grow in such an environment. This gives us the freedom to learn with a free mind.
