The university is amazing, beautiful and very resourceful.
Tips: You must get in touch with your course seniors, know about the subjects, and decide wisely if you really like the subjects or not. Do research on the job market based on your experience. There isn't a placement system here, so it gets really hectic finding a job or even a part-time job, so be prepared for that. The university is amazing, very beautiful, very resourceful. Make full use of your time.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is top-notch and really helpful. They are accessible through emails and also offline appointments. The teaching is mostly case studies, assignments, and interaction-based, which gives an overview of how you will be using the subject knowledge in the real world. The faculty is diverse, with many guest lecturers with expertise in teaching all over the world.
Dislikes (Safety): The attacks on Indians, especially students, are increasing day by day. The college is located right in the heart of the city and poses a risk of theft, attacks, casual racism, etc., due to its proximity to the city centre. It gets a little more unsafe after dark. Transportation is limited to a certain time.

Tips: Embrace the cultural shift. Develop a strong sense of civic responsibility. The environment is generally safe, but remain vigilant and cautious. While I didn't receive a scholarship, securing one is highly beneficial. The university, people, and course are all excellent, and the country is great too. However, approach the job market post-graduation with an open mind and a flexible attitude, as it can be very competitive, even for part-time positions.
Likes (Indian Food): The Indian restaurants are priced in the mid to high range. I enjoy cooking myself, which influenced my rating. The raw ingredients for most Indian dishes are readily available; you just need to look for them. There are multiple options for everything, and a decent variety of places to eat, allowing for creativity and exploration of other cuisines as well.
Dislikes (Internships): There were no internships provided or easily available. The college did not help arranging those even the dissertation companies were not interested in the interaction. Basically there's no hand holding or favours. You have to be reseilient, persevere and get what you want.

Great student life with many on-campus events.
Tips: There has definitely been a cultural shift. Students address teachers by their names, rather than "Sir" or "Ma'am." Students can leave class eat or drink soda without explanation. Basic civic courtesy, such as holding doors and making eye contact, is also common. Following these norms is crucial to avoid negative perceptions and the potential for increased racism.
Likes (Public transportation): There are tons of things to do. The Trinity Sports app allows participation in around 44 different sports. I enjoyed climbing the 36-foot climbing wall in the college. I also attended badminton social sessions, which occurred every two days. Apart from sports there are various social and cultural events such as "new to Dublin" events, festivals and talks. A global room hosts these events. Participating in these activities will allow you to learn a lot and have fun.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The recent unprovoked attacks on Indians are a growing concern. I haven't personally experienced any racial incidents it's been observed that local teens are essentially immune to the law. They often get away with wrongdoing without facing proper punishment. My main advice would be to stay in groups especially at odd hours.

The quality of education is very good; they provide excellent education.
Tips: I've transitioned to my full potential and I was a completely different person back then. Now I feel more confident interacting with people and working independently. There is definitely a cultural shift. The way education is handled in India is very different from here. People greet you differently and everything seems very nice and welcoming.
Likes (Value for money): The quality of education is good they provide excellent education. The course is well structured and always informative. Students receive new assignments every week during their coursework. The professors are very polite and humble. It is value for money.
Dislikes (Safety): Safety is good but it is important to be vigilant. The city is safe even at night but we need to take precautions. Do not carry valuables in crowded places and avoid prolonged conversations with strangers. Following the rules is essential for staying safe.

Student life is excellent at TCD.
Tips: In the beginning, you may find it difficult to adjust to the Irish culture and the rules here, but eventually you'll get used to it. There are plenty of opportunities to avail of scholarships from TCD. Overall, the university provides a rich academic experience with a focus on extracurricular activities as well.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is excellent at TCD. I spent most of my time in lecture rooms and the library studying and completing assignments. The university also offers a wide range of options for sports enthusiasts, including a nice park, canteens, and a bar. Events organised by TCD include career fairs, induction programs, and many other events.
Dislikes (Safety): The campus is secure from outside threats, and students feel completely safe inside. It's just that certain areas around the university tend to not be safe at times. The teenagers have no laws associated with them, and they take advantage of it and try to mess with immigrants. So it's better to stay away from them if you spot them.

Do not shy away from participating in cultural and extracurricular activities in and around the college campus. The campus and library are beautiful, so spend time there. It's in the heart of the city, which makes going to class every day something to look forward to.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is excellent. Visiting faculty members are from all over the world with an enormous loads of knowledge and experience. Even Ph.D. students are very helpful. Scheduling a meeting is simple and systematic. Opportunities for Ph.D. S are also offered through faculty referrals.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian restaurants are plenty, but they are pretty expensive. These restaurants have adapted to the European taste and offer a comparatively local experience. Options are plenty, but it's better to try new cuisines. South Indian places are generally better.

Tips: Ireland has a tough market to crack, with numerous challenges, including finding a part-time job, managing studies, and applying for full-time corporate jobs. The place is overall good, people here are very friendly, they are always helpful, and there is no discrimination here are such.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation in Dublin is excellent. It is very cheap, the whole city is very well connected, and most routes run almost 24 hours a day. The city has three modes of public transport: LUAS (light rail), trains, and buses.
Dislikes (Internships): Not much of internship opportunities are there as a master's student. You won't be hired as an intern in Ireland. They are generally given to Bachelor's students in the penultimate year of their studies. The market is a little tough to crack at this moment.

Trinity College Dublin is great if you have your backup plan ready.
Tips: Students should know that you must have certification and prior experience ready to go through the fast-paced courses in order to succeed. Ideally, your main reason to come to Ireland would be to find a job as quickly as possible. And if you cannot find full-time work, then you should at least be prepared to work part-time to cover at least the cost of living. Keep in mind that even though the people are nice and the campus itself is welcoming, you should take your whole education very seriously.
Likes (Student Life): Trinity College Dublin is the best college in Ireland, so naturally, it also offers the best campus life in the country. Its campus is located in the city center. The campus itself is very large and very green.
Dislikes (Value for money): I am yet to find a job in finance, so I rate this place low in terms of value for money. It's not my personal experience, either. Many immigrant students from my cohort are in the same boat. Some of my friends haven't been able to find jobs, so they've gone back to India or are on their way there. Jobs are scarce, and the Trinity College Dublin tag doesn't help much.

Think twice or even thrice before joining for your good.
Tips: Students should know that there are barely any scholarships when compared to other colleges and quite a few cultural shifts. Get ready for a lot of public speaking and assignments which is a dead scene in India. College does not care about your post-graduation work. Minimum career guidance, everything is self-made and self-done here.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The market is very bad at the moment, with hardly any opportunities. Would not recommend anyone to come here at least at the moment. Sponsorship is another problem that you'll face but one good thing is that you won't need sponsorship for the first 2 years of graduation. Salaries are comparatively low in the US where a just graduation gets on average 100K Dollars but here it is around 27-32K Euros.

Fun, challenging and great learning experience.
Tips: The job market is in a pretty bad shape as of now so decide carefully if you are willing to go through that much amount of pressure and struggle. In addition, finding a part time is quite challenging as well, and have a clear picture in your mind about whether you want to settle abroad or not before going.
Likes (Safety): The country is relatively safe and peaceful. There's public transport that works all time round. And I have been home pretty late at night and it was all safe. Regardless, there are teenagers who caused trouble for a few people I knew but again it all depends on your locality.
Dislikes (Part time work): It was not easy to find a part time job in Dublin. I didn't find one as of now and I am getting rejections for those as well despite having a good CV. I will still apply though until I find one and I will advise you of the same. Go there only if you want to settle down or spend a few years, if you're confused then maybe think about other opportunities.

Excellent College, but the city is expensive.
Tips: Foreign Education differs massively from our Indian Education System. They are very liberal and open-minded towards their curriculum and have exponentially more global exposure. I wasn’t able to obtain any scholarship to study at Trinity but many students in my cohort got scholarships. I’m extremely satisfied with the University and the course, leading to both PhD and Job Opportunities, though Dublin is one of the costliest places to live in but not in the Schengen region.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are extremely nice and open in my department. I’ve never felt out of place asking doubts or getting help from both students and professors in my class. The lectures were organised Mon-Wed to help us have a longer weekend and study better.
Dislikes (Internships): We are encouraged to apply for Internships and support is provided by the college in creating contacts with industry partners via TQA. But being a student from India has made getting Visa to work in other countries very difficult. Most of the students choose to do a PhD after this course though.

Great college to pursue masters.
Tips: A big cultural shift is a lifestyle where we have to do everything at home, including groceries, cleaning, and cooking apart from college and assignments. There are scholarship options provided by different colleges and the government of Ireland in general, have a look at those while applying.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Great faculty at Trinity college dublin, highly qualified and approachable for any issues. Teaching methodology is great but different from how it’s done in India. Teaching here is a lot more research-oriented, need to read a lot of research papers and discuss them in class. Apart from research, there are a lot of individual and group projects on real-life research subjects.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are fairly less opportunities on campus for part time jobs, compared to the number of students/people looking for these jobs. Having said that, it is not impossible to get one, just have to be on the lookout for one when it’s available.
- since it’s a one year course, so it’s difficult to manage time for part time along with the course. But could be done once the students are comfortable with the course and lifestyle.

Learning by industry experts is the best.
Tips: There is no scholarship for this course. There are no exams which is a good thing. Programming knowledge is mandatory. The faculty are current industry leaders who teach with their working experience and not with theoretical experience because of which you learn by applying what has to be thought.
Likes (Indian Food): You get everything Indian in every area of Dublin, even near the college. There is an Indian Society. The majority of the students are Indians in most of the courses. All the Indian festivals are celebrated. The Indian community here is really strong. Mini India store is near the campus.
Dislikes (Part time work): The average pay is good (12.7/hour). But finding a part time on campus or anywhere near the campus or the city centre is impossible. The process of finding a part-time job is extremely exhausting. If you do find a part-time, managing expenses and studies shouldn't be an issue.

Trinity College Dublin: The post pandemic era for Indians has opportunities given you have skills.
Tips: Keep in mind the cost of living. And personally, for the first time being outside of India there was definitely the culture shock but in a good way. Only suggestion would be to research universities based on the course that you want to take as they hold a very key role in how the course modules are set. With that being said you are going to be involved with cultures from all around the world which is a great opportunity to learn a lot about the outside world. And against popular belief in order to get a job around here is not a cakewalk, it's going to be demanding and make sure you hone the skillset and always portray yourself as the most valuable asset. Until you get into the company it's always going to be what value you are to the company and not the other way around. All serious talk side, a very good country and there's nothing a coffee can't solve. A note, the salary you might be getting right after graduation can be very much below your expectations but most companies do a regular revision of plays and you can climb up the ladder sooner than you think. But also the taxes are a bit on the higher side depending on what your salary is. I'd just recommend planning your expenses accordingly as you touch base.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): I wouldn't immigrate to this city as my main motive was to gain knowledge from what the university had to offer and explore. But comparatively, a permanent residence in Ireland is not that difficult if you are willing to put in the effort required. There are different permits which you will get to know as you get through the visa process. The first step is just getting a Stamp 1 which happens when you land a job and the company is willing to sponsor you. If your role comes under the critical skills list this is going to be the least of your worries. And from there on it's just adding more days to your residence and applying for a Stamp 4 which is equivalent to a permanent residentship and following that will be your Irish passport.
Dislikes (Safety): As it goes without saying it's going to be an entirely new city and it all boils down to being self-aware. Apart from campus security, there are going to be caretakers in case you live in a student accommodation that isn't provided by the university itself. Otherwise, you are always going to have the local cops. The city in itself is beautiful to explore and the neighbouring countries are also not that far off for a weekend trip. There are a lot of hikes around, a lot of local pubs, and a lot of activities surrounding the city. As long as you are aware of your surroundings you are going to be safe and sound. It would be a big plus if you had more people along with you.

How Trinity nurtures student life: Crafting futures beyond graduation
Tips: Since the weather here is cold and gloomy, so initially, one may take time to get accustomed to the weather and atmosphere here, because the culture and living standards here are completely different from India. Initially, one may feel that it is difficult to adjust here, but eventually, you will start getting habitual to this place, and you will like living here. Since I got into this college through the student exchange programme, so I did get an education scholarship with tuition fees of about 25%, based on my grades at the university in India. I am satisfied with the teaching pattern of this college because there is more emphasis on practical learning, so one must brush up their concepts before coming here, so as to catch up with the pace of learning here. I have also got accustomed to the weather here and the cuisine here, but I am only dissatisfied with the job market because there is a struggle after studies to find a job.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transport available here is very affordable and feasible for the students. Since the campus is in the heart of the city, so there are a number of available modes for public transportation, mainly the buses and the luas to each part of the city. For students, public transportation is extremely cheap, and if one travels several times a day, so there is a system of capping, where you are not charged after a certain amount has been spent in travelling on a day.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): For fresh graduates, the job market is challenging here and most of the companies are quite unwilling to sponsor visas as compared to the situation of experienced professionals. There are various graduate roles available in the IT sector, but again job market is competitive for graduates, although the salary offered is good.

University of Queensland is great for people aiming to pursue research in there career.
Tips: The biggest cultural shift was the fact that people are more laid back and chill. I got an international high achievers scholarship for students with good academic records. It reduced my fees by about 10%. I'm very satisfied with the course since it's world-recognised and the university is ranked 1 in Australia in its field. Also, the research sector here is great.
Likes (Safety): Public transport is good and feels safe. People are nice, and I have never felt unsafe even when walking home late at night. I also work overnight shifts, so I often travel by car late at night, but I always feel safe. I don't have many bad experiences to recount.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are very few opportunities for new graduates in my field. Plus, there aren’t many companies in this city that even hire people with my background. It looks like the options I have are to be a research assistant, a quality assurance manager, or a research scientist. Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation is nearly free, which is the cheapest in Australia, but bus frequency and range are an issue. You might have to change multiple buses if you live in a cheaper location away from the city. I recommend staying near the campus, so you don’t miss out on campus activities.
Dislikes (Student Life): The campus is open 24 hours for students. We also have good libraries and tons of research materials. Also, the university is very beautiful. They have student activities, wellness sections, and free food. Multicultural events are organised, and there are over 200 clubs for students who enjoy different sports and ethnicities.

Likes (Student Life): I love spending time at the college; the campus is beautiful and the library is the best. There are lots of events too, and they even celebrate Indian festivals. I performed an Indian ghoomer, and I also volunteer. There are over 100 clubs there.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The restaurants around provide more Thai and Mexican food, with less Indian food to be found. Food costs at least $10. I prefer to cook my own food, as I love cooking, and I can get Indian groceries easily. It saves me money and gives me the taste of India, so I don't have to adjust to new cuisine.

Tips: There are multiple scholarships that can best suit you if you are looking for one. Keep an eye out for the right one for you. The bit that was challenging was food. You get Indian options here, though not every place is as nice as home. You need to keep pace with it and make your own stuff. The university campus life is great. We have many activities and events on campus. We also have student bodies that look after those events.
Likes (Safety): UQ has a dedicated service for campus security that runs safety buses around the campus. They also offer a chauffeur in case you need someone to walk you to a place where the safety bus does not go. On-campus accommodation is fully secure, and so is the library.
Dislikes (Internships): The help available is limited to how the application goes, but it doesn't assist in securing one. My field of study is currently experiencing a setback, and is mostly selective hiring from the current employee network only. The number of graduates far exceeds the number of jobs.

Tips: When you're transitioning from India's universities to Australia's, it takes time. Once you're settled in, though, it gets easy. You just get used to the things around you. Be smart. Be organised, have a rounded personality, and everything will be fine. For international students, you can use the IAS scholarships. The student fees are very expensive, but the quality of the education is great. The professors and the teaching staff are well-experienced, so they're really helpful. The assignments, while practically oriented, can be boring. The country and the universities have made me happy. Getting a part-time job will be tough initially, but networking is the key. It also helps to get to know more people. I took advantage of being in another country, and now I've mingled with people from all over the world who are in all kinds of courses. Don't stick to your friends from home or anyone who's Indian.

Likes (Internships): There are many opportunities within the campus as well but one needs to actively seek them. You will have to network and meet people via networking events organised by the university to be able to secure an internship that aligns with your professional goals.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Public transport is good. Buses are 50 cents only and if you live near the university you could probably walk or cycle. Living far without a car could be challenging as it could mean more travel time and might add more to your academic workload.

Worth every penny you spend.
Tips: The university provides 10,000 dollar scholarships for high achievers, while you are selected by the university. There is not much cultural shift, it is homely and friendly. They have a lot of communities and societies where you can hang out with your community or multi-dimensional students. Just try to engage and interact more with your peers and faculty.
Likes (Safety): The university campus has high security rules and ensures the well-being of the students. The city, anyway, has a few limitations on how you behave; if you are sweet and lovely enough, the city treats you well.
Dislikes (Internships): The university does not provide students with an internship. It is completely up to the student to do networking and get the internship. I don't know much about other fields, but data Science doesn't provide any internships, they do offer a part-time job if you score a 7/7 GPA as a academic tutor.

Great transportation facilities and friendly people.
Tips: Please go through the course structure on the website and check whether what you want to learn is actually there. You will be able to find friends, do not worry about that, and the people here are nice, you will have fun. Sometimes it may feel lonely, but that's a challenge you have to get over. You can check for scholarships online or ask your counsellor as well. In general, I really like it here and hope to get a good job soon.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transport system is very accessible in the city and is well-connected, efficient, and there is a variety of options to choose from as a mode of transport, including buses, trains, or ferries. In Brisbane, currently it is very cheap to travel because of the 50 cent rule, and now you can travel any distance in Brisbane for a very low price. Enjoy travelling without spending a lot each month.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is quite good and approachable. It is just that the way to contact them can be a hassle at times. For example, in India, you could just go and ask the professor your doubts or queries. Here, you have to inform via email, take permission and in general seems like a hassle. You also have to be careful with which TA is teaching you, as good ones will take you far with their guidance, but a not-so-good one can be a headache without clarity.

Tips: I lived most of my life overseas, so it was a bit easier for me to fit into the crowd. The cultural shift was immense. There are so many new phrases and so many new habits that I had to get accustomed to, and it is better to learn this and fit in. But you have to remain original, as Aussies love it. Quite a complex balance. But you'll figure it out as you go, trust me. I did obtain a scholarship, as my university is partnered with my alma mater, and I had to request this separately and specifically after doing my independent research, so do your own independent research and be certain that there will be various scholarships that the university is happy to offer to the right candidate fitting all the criteria. The university has transformed my life in every aspect; it has broadened my perspective and provided me with a new perspective of life, of industry, and of academia, and it has been truly transformational. The course has been one of the best because this is what I wanted to do, and it had the exact balance of courses that will help me excel in my career. Since I have found my purpose, I can be confident when I see that the courses I learned have helped me in the right direction. There is more learning left. That is one of the main learnings that the university has provided me. I can't speak for Australia as a whole, but as for Brisbane, it's a beautiful, beautiful blossoming city nestled right in the centre of Eastern Australia, which makes it perfect: a tropical climate, not too cold, not too hot, beautiful people, easygoing, and there's not a lot of hassle and busters that you see in some of the major, well-known cities like Melbourne or Sydney.
Likes (Safety): The St. Lucia campus takes security very seriously. Imagine an emergency app or security dedicated to the office emergency point of call. Emergency vans are ready to evacuate you. Establish evacuation procedures that are brief for students well in advance, if they are working or if they are studying. Cameras throughout the campus are monitored by security officers 24/7, 365 days a year. That is some strong dedication. I have worked at the university as a staff member, and I know the amount of work and training that the university puts into ensuring that the students feel safe in the university. On the other hand, I have also felt some incidences of students not behaving right outside the campus, and that is beyond the control of the university; however, this is very rare and is very unfortunate when it happens, but Brisbane overall is a safe city within the city premises. Doesn't necessarily apply to the outskirts, where there isn't a lot of safety.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Asphalt companies offering sponsor visa work don't have too much of high hopes, but do come prepared and ready to take on a challenge, and you will certainly be rewarded with not only a job but also a transformational confidence and self-esteem in yourself. Furthermore, companies prefer hiring local citizens as it is easier for them to process the visa, and quicker hires can be done rather than extending the process, which hurts the company and the processes, and practically speaking, they put more money out of their pocket, which any company in this capitalistic and practical environment wouldn't want to do. With that said, I heard a lot of success stories through recruiters from Indian international students, and they eventually got their permanent residency as well. So don't lose hope, and there are more chances if you break into the market early on. So once you're here, keep chasing your internships and get higher quickly in the field of your work and build on your resume, and trust me, you are all set to succeed. A salary package of 75,000 certified Australian dollars is common. A grey job can even land you a six-figure salary as an entry-level package.

Tips: I have availed the UQ High Achievers’ award, where I have a 20% academic scholarship. However, there has been a massive cultural shift and a rather immense personality shift. The way we look at life changes rapidly, and yeah, I'm not hating this experience, it’s alright.
Likes (Public transportation): Transportation is good if you use public transport, since Brisbane has great rates, it's 50-cents flat charge for any travel within Brisbane. However, on-campus parking is expensive. Travel within the city is okay, and the campus has good last-mile connectivity.
Dislikes (Value for money): The courses are underwhelming at this college. They don't have the best structure, the materials aren't updated regularly, and the lectures aren't very good. The professors can be difficult to work with. They will answer the required questions, but they can also be mean about it. The workshops and tutorials don't work very well.

Tips: There are very few scholarships available for Indian students at UQ, but you will receive an email during the application process, so there is no separate application needed. I faced hardships with the transition from the Indian education system to the Australian education system. It's so much different. I suggest that you attend all the induction sessions at the beginning. They share a lot of information about how to plan and study, which is very helpful and important. Overall, I am satisfied with my studies at UQ.
Likes (Value for money): At UQ, you get what you pay for; the high tuition makes sense with the quality of teaching staff and education you receive on campus. The facilities on campus also make the school worthwhile. However, if you only want a degree, it's not a good choice because the teachers are very focused on interaction and student performance, which may not be good for everyone.
Dislikes (Part time work): Getting a part-time job is pretty convenient if you work off campus, but it may take some time. You'll have to apply for a lot of different jobs to get hired, and you may experience rejections. It's hard to find on-campus jobs because they want employees with experience. If you work off campus, your salary will be around 32 dollars an hour.

Everyone is really helpful. One thing different from India is that things here are really systemic, so one might not feel more connected with the faculty. Meeting the faculty member requires taking an appointment in advance here. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Internships): The university provides proper guidance for internships, but it's a bit competitive. You need to perform well in one or the other criteria to get an internship. The issue is not getting paid internships because of a visa limitation on working hours, so finding the right internship becomes a bit difficult.

Tips: For new students, UQ offers lots of interesting events to feel involved in; my advice will be to attend those and make connections. Likes (Safety): UQ has its own safe zone app for the security of the UQ community. Brisbane is quite welcoming for new students and filled with lovely people but not to say, everyone should be aware of their own safety as in rare cases there can be some incidents, especially at night.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Australian Immigration policy changes every time and it's a little hard to get a permanent settlement as long as you are not on the priority list. Given a chance, I would like to spend some time in Australia not necessarily looking for the parmanent immigration.

The college is beautiful and the learning process helps you grow professionally.
Tips: It is a multicultural environment so students are required to be pretty extroverted if they want to make contacts and be social. Scholarships are not granted easily as the cut-off goes to around 98-99 percentile unless you are transferring through an international programme from an Indian college.
Likes (Quality of faculty): They are very open to questions and help you with any doubts. Teaching methods are mostly practical and plagiarism free. It's easy to learn if you attend all the lectures and stay focused on your task instead of focusing on part time jobs. I would say the teaching faculty is pretty diverse in terms of nationality.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Very few companies offer sponsorship for post-study visas. Job roles are not offered frequently and the base salary in my field is around 80k-90k AUD. It's very hard to get into companies as you will have to apply for 400-500 of them and still, it's luck-based because there are rounds for interviews, especially behaviour interviews.
