The availability of part-time jobs on campus and off campus is far less than before.
Tips: The cultural shift was definitely noticeable. The stores all close around 5 o'clock, which means a distinct lack of nightlife. There are lots of scholarships for students, so it's helpful that there's a good variety to pick from. I'm satisfied with the academics here. There's a heavy emphasis on the practical side of learning rather than pure theory.
Dislikes (Part time work): The availability of part-time jobs on campus and off campus is far less than before. If you are able to secure a position, the job and life balance is quite sustainable. The average worker earns about $600 per week, which includes a 9% superannuation payment that is put toward their retirement plan.
