Master of Business Administration - Batch of 2025

Pretty diverse environment.
Tips: Many cultural shifts. You are responsible for yourself in a true sense. Whether you wanna spend your parents' money or earn your own buck is up to you. There is help available but it won't come to you unless you ask for it. Education is cheaper compared to other countries in Europe and America. There is racism against Indians overall. That's the case everywhere in the world whoever says otherwise is either privileged or lying case they benefit from it. I am happy because I had goals that I worked towards achieving.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is not too bad. Pretty good options to keep you engaged in University. Clubs, sports, societies and other events to keep you as involved as you want. Classes are not too heavy. A maximum of 12 hours of class time each week, about 10 hours of prep time. Exams are every semester for 2 weeks. You get plenty of breaks. At least 4 months of break time every year.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Very limited and getting tighter every year. Most times you need to choose between PR vs the ideal course you'd like to study. Even most immigration lawyers or consultants will try to gauge what you want, as both priorities can hardly be met for a majority of students. Need to be clear about whether you want PR or to study what you want.

Be friendly and socialize with people.
Tips: I would say that studies over here are not like it is back home. I did not have any work experience before the commencement of my degree. My tip would be to work for a few years and then go for a master's, as they don't teach much and in depth over here. Also, you need to be very active and good at speaking because networking opens doors for you over here and not just having technical knowledge.

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Electrical and Mechatronic) - Batch of 2024

Stressful, waste of money and don't want to do it again.
Tips: It's a waste of money. They will not help you even if you are top 5 percent of your batch. There are no good scholarships for international students other than the 15 percent. That 15 percent barely even helps me at all. First class doesn't mean anything on graduation day. They will not announce it. I am satisfied with my university.
Likes (Safety): Felt included, doesn't feel anyone would hurt me. People are there were friendly. I don't think there were incidents of stealing but they put signs on as well. Some teachers were nice and helpful. There weren't any problems in the university safety wise.
Dislikes (Internships): They did not help to give any internships or helping them recommend us to different companies. It was a struggle to even get an internship without pay. The internships are there where we can apply, but other universities can also apply. They are not responsible for helping us get an internship. So on top of the grades, this also increases my stress levels.

Great for studies and growth for international students.
Tips: Growing up in India, I know that our schools and colleges are very interactive with everyone, including students, teachers and other staff, but in these universities we barely talk to anyone cause people are just busy with their own lives. So these are like just do your studies and leave. Do your own, succeed and live happily.

UniSA is a lifetime opportunity that offers strong academic support.
Tips: Students should know that UniSA is a great university and a lifetime opportunity that offers strong academic support and a diverse, welcoming environment. UniSA is where global learning meets real-world support - be ready for growth, challenges and a vibrant cultural journey.
Likes (Value for money): The tuition fees are well justified given the quality of education, access to resources and support services provided. The practical learning environment adds real value to my career goals. The overall learning experience feels aligned with industry expectations.
Dislikes (Internships): The guidance felt limited and largely self-directed. It would have been better if there were more curated or faculty-specific internships. UniSA provide the best internships and placement opportunities for medical students, hope it improves the process for other courses as well.

Australian education and culture shift can be challenging.
Tips: There is a huge cultural and academic shift when you migrate to any other country. People are generally nice and want to talk to you and know your experience so you will have to be a bit more extrovert to make yourself known. I went with a scholarship which was around 10,000 Dollars deducted from the total tuition fee.
Likes (Post study jobs): There are only a few companies that will sponsor visas for employees. You have to apply for your own work visa post-study. Depending on your previous experience, students will generally get entry-level jobs but since there is minimum wage and quick progression, students will not face any issues and will be able to live comfortably.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Australian government constantly changes their immigration laws and jobs required to achieve Permanent Residence (PR). Even if you have planned your path to PR, circumstances can still change to where when you are applying for your post-study visa, they may not grant you that visa. Given a chance, I will permanently migrate to Australia.

Average College, Safest country!
Tips: The cultural shift would be there even if it's Asia. The eating habits are very different be ready for cultural shocks too. The courses are good, it is a business oriented country and entrepreneurship is given more focus. Apart from academics, there are many international and interest communities here like Chinese community is there and there are many clubs too. The campus is not that much big but the people have big hearts. Overall it is average and can be taken up as an option if one wishes to study here. The country is very clean and is safe so much to try and explore. It's good to be a student here and enjoy.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is helpful and supportive and is also very diverse. There are lecturers from India as well and they'll also be ready to help you out if you have any doubts. The faculty is well-qualified and experienced. It'll be good in terms of studies. Academics is not so easy and not so difficult, it is moderate.
Dislikes (Value for money): This isn't amongst the top universities in Singapore, NTU, NUS are the best but if we take course fees into consideration it'll be around 10 Lacs less than that of the other two per year considering if you're coming to Singapore for Masters. But the money you pay for those top universities is worth it. So, if you have the budget and you have relevant scores go for them and don't think again. In private universities, SIM and Kaplan are best so accordingly make a choice. As compared to these universities the placement rate is also low and it is difficult to find a job here as well but it is not impossible either.
