MSc Engineering Management - Batch of 2025

It's a good university with supportive teaching staff.
Tips: I did experience a cultural shift after coming here. However, I appreciate that the university organises Indian celebrations for various festivals. It helps me feel connected to my roots while adapting to a new environment. I was able to secure a scholarship of 4000 pounds, and I also received an early bird discount of 1000 pounds. The scholarship application process was straightforward, and I was thrilled to have this financial support. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my university, the course I am taking, and the country. The assignments are based on real data and incorporate updated research, which enhances my learning experience significantly.
Likes (Value for money): I found all the interesting subjects in one single course at this university. Also, it’s budget-friendly. It feels safe here in university. Moreover, we can easily make friends here. As my university is in the East Midlands region of England, we have the most stress-free lifestyle.
Dislikes (Part time work): If your profession is mechanical engineering, then it’s hard to get a job in your field. Moreover, the current immigration policies in the UK pose significant challenges. UK companies don’t give visa sponsorship. It is possible only in the health care sector.

MSc in Project Manager is a good course. No part-time jobs.
Tips: University of Lincoln is a good university. The city is good, everything is locally available but the only thing is that part-time is not available. Please be prepared for that apart from this university and city is good. And please take technical courses more than management if you have 5 years of experience then only go for the management course.

Vibrant campus and good student life.
Tips: The college is located in Central Lincoln so everything is available. Also the train station is not that far it is just 5-6 minutes walking distance from the college. Many major bus routes are covered too. Living in the UK is very different from India! The culture, traditions even phrases and gestures sometimes convey different meanings so it takes some time to adjust. Facilities are very modern and so is the infrastructure. Work placements are optional and staff from Careers and Employability do help students with the CV. Many events take place, the campus is very vibrant almost every other day there is some event going on in general. A lot is provided for student entertainment. Faculty is top-notch every topic is covered in detail and modules are quite good. I haven't had any negative experiences from the university as of now.

University is friendly and good
Tips: The way of teaching is very different compared to India.
We have to adjust to the new surroundings.
If we delay adjusting to this environment then we will be doomed. We have to be prepared mentally for everything before coming to the United Kingdom.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The quality is good and the way of teaching is good.
Faculty members are available whenever you want all we need to do is book an appointment and meet them in their faculty room. The books are designed very well and we can understand them easily without any stress.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Cooking by myself because finding Indian dishes is very hard outside and also it is very expensive to buy and eat outside. So we have to cook by ourselves and also in the initial days, we cannot eat the local food due to different tastes and also different meat.

I literally loved the university, people, infrastructure, facilities
Tips: Students should carefully choose the accommodation. They have to be on their own funds for the first three months, so don't expect part-time jobs quickly. Students have to make up their minds that they came only for studies, not for part-time jobs. The university is mainly designed as a home far away from home.
Likes (Student Life): Everything is designed well on campus like they literally owned the students to support.
We have a union, wellness support, librarian support, and immigration advice. A variety of accommodations are designed at the campus to meet the student requirements which includes Wi-Fi and a theatre facility for 24/7.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): A little bit hard to get the sponsorship to get settled here because there is a lot of competition for sponsorship and yearly the prices are increasing whether it is food, internet, or transportation. The immigration team is always available to clarify the issues we are having.

Supportive and understanding faculty.
Tips: Everybody here is from overseas, so there are cultural differences. But everyone is new, and with a little interaction, everything seems fine. I received a scholarship for about 2000 GBP, which almost everyone gets. It's based on your grades. The university is great, and I live in a different city from my campus, so I have to travel a bit. The course expects a lot from you, but the faculty is very supportive and understanding. With their guidance, it's worth it in the end.

It is amazing it provides the best possible environment for study and learning new skills here
Tips: Just come here and you will have the best experience of life. Here a student can really grow in skills and can learn how to get fit in the modern world confidently. The country's laws have proper provisions to deal with the living standards so a student should come and experience by themselves.
Likes (Safety): It's very safe over here, the country's law provides proper provision for every citizen to live freely and enjoy life. So a student should come and experience the living lifestyle. As per my thoughts UK is the best country in terms of living.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): I got the best experience here as a student. I got to learn new things and gained the best possible experience. The environment over here is unmatchable so I personally prefer the United Kingdom to study and grow in person so a person should visit here.
