BA (Hons) Business and Accounting (Top Up) - Batch of 2025
4.3
University is friendly and good
Tips: The way of teaching is very different compared to India.
We have to adjust to the new surroundings.
If we delay adjusting to this environment then we will be doomed. We have to be prepared mentally for everything before coming to the United Kingdom.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The quality is good and the way of teaching is good.
Faculty members are available whenever you want all we need to do is book an appointment and meet them in their faculty room. The books are designed very well and we can understand them easily without any stress.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Cooking by myself because finding Indian dishes is very hard outside and also it is very expensive to buy and eat outside. So we have to cook by ourselves and also in the initial days, we cannot eat the local food due to different tastes and also different meat.

I literally loved the university, people, infrastructure, facilities
Tips: Students should carefully choose the accommodation. They have to be on their own funds for the first three months, so don't expect part-time jobs quickly. Students have to make up their minds that they came only for studies, not for part-time jobs. The university is mainly designed as a home far away from home.
Likes (Student Life): Everything is designed well on campus like they literally owned the students to support.
We have a union, wellness support, librarian support, and immigration advice. A variety of accommodations are designed at the campus to meet the student requirements which includes Wi-Fi and a theatre facility for 24/7.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): A little bit hard to get the sponsorship to get settled here because there is a lot of competition for sponsorship and yearly the prices are increasing whether it is food, internet, or transportation. The immigration team is always available to clarify the issues we are having.

Supportive and understanding faculty.
Tips: Everybody here is from overseas, so there are cultural differences. But everyone is new, and with a little interaction, everything seems fine. I received a scholarship for about 2000 GBP, which almost everyone gets. It's based on your grades. The university is great, and I live in a different city from my campus, so I have to travel a bit. The course expects a lot from you, but the faculty is very supportive and understanding. With their guidance, it's worth it in the end.

It is amazing it provides the best possible environment for study and learning new skills here
Tips: Just come here and you will have the best experience of life. Here a student can really grow in skills and can learn how to get fit in the modern world confidently. The country's laws have proper provisions to deal with the living standards so a student should come and experience by themselves.
Likes (Safety): It's very safe over here, the country's law provides proper provision for every citizen to live freely and enjoy life. So a student should come and experience the living lifestyle. As per my thoughts UK is the best country in terms of living.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): I got the best experience here as a student. I got to learn new things and gained the best possible experience. The environment over here is unmatchable so I personally prefer the United Kingdom to study and grow in person so a person should visit here.

MSc Biomedical Science - Batch of 2026
Offered by University of Salford
4.2
Balanced academic experience with limited career support.
Tips: Be prepared to take initiative, especially for internships and job hunting. The course is academically strong, but career support can be limited. The shift to a more independent learning style and individualistic culture was noticeable. However, the environment is welcoming and diverse. I received a 3000 GBP scholarship based on my academic performance during admission. I'm satisfied with the quality of education, but wish there were more career support. The UK is a great place to study, though the setting can be tough.
Likes (Value for money): The course offers strong academic content, experienced faculty and access to well-equipped labs at a relatively affordable tuition fee compared to many other UK universities. The scholarship opportunities also help reduce the financial burden. Overall, the quality of education and resources provided justifies the cost of the programme.
Dislikes (Internships): There is very limited support or structured guidance from the university in finding relevant internships for Biomedical Science. Most students have to search on their own, and opportunities are often not aligned with our field or require prior UK experience, which is difficult for international students. This makes it challenging to gain hands-on industry exposure during the course.

It's really nice university, I will recommend it.
Tips: It's a nice place to study, nice education is provided. I have seen many changes in my life after coming to this university. I had a lot of expectations from my university and I am happy all were met. I am satisfied with my course and the university.
Likes (Part time work): It's a really nice place. Healthy relations with everyone. There is good teamwork and they are fair with work. I really enjoyed working with the team. They provide 11 pounds per hour. It's really nice. Happy with my job and I worked in the hospitality industry.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are many companies for jobs, they offer good packages. It's a good university for education. They provide proper knowledge for further job requirements. Really happy to get admission to this university.
