There are two ways to take the DET. You can either purchase one test or buy a test bundle, which lets you attempt two tests, one after another, after a short break. The Duolingo English Test fee, i.e. the fee for one single test, is USD 70. The other alternative is to purchase a test bundle in which the test takers can take two tests and send the best score to the DET accepting universities worldwide.

This indicated that one needs to pay USD 118 (INR 10,100) in total for both tests. Once you’ve bought the bundle, you will have to appear for the first test within 21 days. DET Rescheduling Fees

In case a test taker faces issues during the test or is unable to obtain the result within a commercially reasonable time frame once the test is done, Duolingo will assist you with the same. At its convenience, Duolingo will either refund your money or provide you with a credit for the same. It may also try to solve the prevailing issue related to the test.
If you think you deserve a refund due to the test issue, you will be required to state the problem in writing to Duolingo within 24 hours of the occurrence of the same. Make sure that you provide any details that Duolingo requires and are not accountable for the test issue. The amount of refund you would obtain won’t be greater than the real amount you paid for the exam.
