About EMYLON Business School
EMLYON Business School was founded in 1872 by the Lyon Chamber of Commerce. It is one of the oldest Management schools in Europe and falls among the Top 1% of Business schools worldwide, having a triple accreditation from EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA. There are four global campuses of the school located in Lyon, Paris, Shanghai, and Mumbai.

History
EMLYON Business School was founded in 1872. Then, in 1892, the State officially recognized the school as an institution of higher education. Then, in 1947, girls were welcomed at EMLYON Business School. Furthermore, in 1984, the school opened the Center for Entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial program, which is the first Business school incubator in France. In 1997, the school changed its name to E.M.L.Y.O.N (Ecole de Management de Lyon). Then, in 2005, the school received its AACSB accreditation, in addition to its existing accreditations AMBA and EQUIS. In 2007, the school opened a campus in Shanghai. In 2016, the school opened a campus in Paris. Furthermore, in 2021, EMLYON opened a campus in India in Mumbai in partnership with Xt. Xavier’s College. In 2022, the school celebrated its 150th anniversary.
