A well-rounded business school at the heart of Lyon.
Tips: Really liked my time here. The school is beautiful. Everything just works. Peers and faculty members are great. Amenities are cool. The Makes' Lab is amazing. The career centre helps out a lot in finding your next career. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

Very engaging, fun and vibrant student life.
Tips: A beautiful campus that provides all the resources necessary for students' personal and professional development. The school also stands out for the richness of its programs and the diversity of its student body, valuable assets for anyone wishing to grow in a truly international environment. Regarding my degree, it encourages us to genuinely understand the concepts rather than simply memorise them which is essential when entering the professional world. Moreover, the Career Centre really help us in order to prepare the internship interviews with high quality support.
Likes (Value for money): It is expensive but if you work a lot, you can expect to have a good job with a good salary in order to repay your student loan easily. The cost for my Masters is 28,000.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The courses are good but I think that some of them can be improved really easily. Moreover, I think that it would be beneficial to have more personal reviews with the programme director in order to prepare more efficiently for the internship interviews. To finish, this programme is probably missing some courses in restructuring for students who want to work in this area.

It gives you springboard, upto you what you make out of it
Tips:
Simple concept: Courses are offered in English, but if you want to work/intern in France, an intermediate level of French is the real game changer. Very few opportunities in English in France, and they are very competitive and not in every field of management.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is top notch, its a good balance between French & international professors. You do not have micromanagement, you have significant liberty & support from them as and when required. There are highly qualified pros from all over the world, incl. India.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): French language requirement is non-negotiable for the majority of roles to land an internship/job. If you wish to just pursue a degree and then leave France, English is sufficient and works in school, but the moment you wish to participate in the professional environment, you would need a professional level of French at least.

Becoming independent and finding my place in France.
Tips: Coming to France made me much more independent. I learned to manage daily challenges, multitask, and handle things on my own. The biggest cultural shift for me was adapting to the food, which pushed me to learn cooking and also dealing with the language barrier, as finding a job without French is quite difficult and integration at work becomes easier if you know the language. I received a scholarship from Emlyon based on my academic background. I am satisfied with my university because they offer multiple opportunities. I strongly recommend to learn French to make the experience even better.

Great school and great city.
Tips: It has been my first time living in France, but the people are very welcoming at Emlyon, with a large international student body and many people from around the world discovering the culture as well. Fundamentally, people remain easy-going. I was able to benefit from a scholarship following a high GMAT score and benefited from a considerable reduction in fees. The course promises great employability, which is what I'm after and France has been fantastic so far.
Likes (Public transportation): Lyon is firstly a beautiful city with great balance, as well as a vibrant city with lots to offer. Concerning the former point, Lyon is picturesque whilst also deeply rooted in well-being, situated near many wonderful hikes and many walks/bike rides to do in the city, as much of the public infrastructure is designed to accommodate these activities. Concerning the latter, Lyon also has many activities to do beyond this, with many delicious restaurants, lots of bars and clubs, and all of these are very accommodating to the 2,00,000 strong student population of the city. Emlyon goes beyond this and ensures that the student life is paced with opportunities to participate in student clubs and many events organised by all the societies.
Dislikes (Internships): The faculty are very keen on representing the best opportunities for their students, both within and beyond the curriculum. The courses are tailored to what the students want to achieve professionally, and the faculty are very supportive in professional and extracurricular ventures that students may want to pursue.
