On Fees and Eligibility
Q:   Are degree programs at Vatel Paris taught in English?
A:

No. Vatel Paris only delivers its degree programs in French. However, students can pursue English-taught degrees at the Vatel Bordeaux and Vatel Nimes campus, in France.

Degree programs in English are also available at Vatel Brussels in Belgium and Vatel Martigny in Switzerland.

Q:   Can I study at Vatel France with an IELTS score of 5.5?

Yes, Indian students can get into Vatel France with an IELTS score of 5.5. Students interested in a UG degree in Hospitality Management can get a seat with this score.

However, an IELTS score of 6.0 or above is usually required for entry to PG degree programs like the MBA.

Q:   What is the Marco Polo student exchange programme at Vatel?
A:

The Vatel Marco Polo program allows hospitality students to spend an academic year (usually the 2nd or 3rd year) of their degree programme in any of the 50+ Vatel campuses across 4 continents, provided they receive a valid student visa for that country. This allows students to:

  • Explore a new country and its culture
  • Learn an additional foreign language
  • Gain international work experience

As all Vatel schools share the same educational framework, credit transfer is very easy and simple.

Q:   What is the Vatel Business School application fee for Indian students?
A:

Indian students are often required to pay an entrance exam fee of EUR 130 (INR 14.5 K) at Vatel France. Additional costs include an International student card fee worth EUR 10 (INR 1.1 K) and a 'Cite du Vin' pass worth EUR 40 (INR 4.4 K) for International Wine & Spirits Management students only.

MBA in International Hotel Management - Batch of 2027
4.0
Great hospitality school with excellent training, supportive staff, and global opportunities.
Tips: I'm pretty much satisfied with my campus. The one thing I would have done before coming here is to be at least at a B1 level in French, which will help you a lot for internships, part-time jobs, and post-study. The cultural difference is evident; one should be mentally prepared to integrate well.
Likes (Public transportation): Very accessible. The place where I am is Bordeaux, and every 5 min. there are tram options every 10 to 15 min. There is a bus also. If you need to commute to another city, trains and FlixBus are available. For students under 27 years old, there is a discount for subscriptions.
Dislikes (Value for money): Aligned with the course structure and the infrastructure provided on both campuses, such as internet, etc., I feel the tuition fee is a bit high. Within these 2 years, we are only in the college for roughly 10 months; the remaining months, we are away for an internship.
