INSEAD is a private business school established in 1957. The term INSEAD means European Institute of Business Administration. INSEAD Business School started its first executive education program in 1968. The Ph.D. program was launched in 1989 and the development campaign of the INSEAD Business School began in 1995. Moreover, INSEAD Business School started the participant exchange agreement program in 2013, which is now commonly known as the Student Exchange Program. INSEAD is famous for its MBA courses. Over the years, the INSEAD Business School developed from an entrepreneurial venture to an international university. The faculty aims to support and inspire the students and develop research theories that can bring great changes to the world.
The main campus of the university, located in France, was opened in 1967. The campus features two residences within the premises and is also available for students with short term courses. The seminars and conferences are held at this campus. The accommodation is well-maintained with all the facilities that the students require. The residential buildings are desiged by Guy Calderon. Moreover, the campus has a fitness center that is open from 6 am in the morning till 10 pm at night. Also, the library at the campus holds up to thousands of books and research papers. It is opened 24x7 with free access to Wi-Fi. In case you have any query about the books, the staff of the library is available throughout the week.
The INSEAD Business School offers an undergraduate degree program, postgraduate degree program, executive education program, a doctoral program and a certificate in business foundation. The academic curriculum of the INSEAD Business School includes about 10 language courses and various other subjects that are categorized into different departments. The MBA degree program has a wide list of courses that includes Organizational Behavior, Financial Accounting, Strategy, Corporate Policy, Operations Management, Macroeconomics, and Managerial Accounting. The faculty also runs the Executive MBA program which is a globally recognized course.
It focuses on basic subjects that are significant in the work field. The duration of this course is 15-16 months. In addition, the student exchange program helps the students to learn about various courses in a different environment. This gives them the opportunity to work with other professionals.
The INSEAD Business School has a remarkable list of alumni that includes Niels Christiansen (CEO, LEGO), Najib Mikati (Prime Minister of Lebanon), Elena Paranitis (Member of Greek Parliament), Tom Adams (CEO of Rosetta Stone) and Jussi Pajunen (Mayor of Helsinki).
