Fun and easily adaptable university life
Tips: Even with no preparation, it's pretty much easy to adapt, but knowing French might help. I didn't get any scholarship for myself, but some students do get scholarships, between 2k and 8k. Fully satisfied with the university, course, and country (in terms of education).
Likes (Public transportation): There is a bus stop just outside the school, and it's very well connected to the city; transport throughout the city is pretty much convenient and easy. Transport is pretty affordable and convenient. Getting a monthly pass around 30 EUR or 10 tickets for 9 EUR.
Dislikes (Part time work): No part-time jobs are available on campus; for off-campus part-time work, you would need French or connections. Managing part-time depends on the course because a few courses have 5-day classes with 3 classes each day, and some courses have few classes and more leisure time.

Very structured and organized.
Tips: France is indeed a rich cultural heritage country. People here respect their food, language and culture a lot. To effectively manage the culture shock, try to ask questions and integrate yourself by narrating stories of your country and correlating with France and its culture. The French love to narrate their country's table. I did learn French back in my home country until B1 before coming in, and I did take classes at the university for B2 during my supply chain courses. It is essential that you know some French. Most recruitment forums/fairs held at college ask for at least a B1-B2 level table enough to make a conversation without worrying about grammar. University NEOMA Business School is a very structured university and academically oriented. Please come with a learning and an open mindset as it will be helpful to mingle with other nationalities during assignments and group work. Scholarships are offered; you can apply from India before you arrive. If you are an early bird candidate, you get at least a discount of 1000 euros and there are other scholarships from the campus France. Check on their website for more information.
Likes (Quality of faculty): In Supply Chain, the course is indeed worth the money especially if you come in just for one year course. The faculty and teaching methodology is quite structured and standardised. Faculty from different nationalities handle the subjects. Since it is quite a heavy course, join in with a working mindset. It is not an easy ride. At the same time enjoy your journey as the sessions taught are worth the knowledge in real life industries as every subject in my course is analytical and case study based which is definitely useful in future careers. One other important thing, please learn some French. Try to start from your home country before you arrive in France. Life gets easier even with a little French.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part time jobs are pretty scarce in here, however if you do bring high language skills in French you can try your luck. The course is pretty dense for 1 year students. I am into Supply Chain, so the course is intense and quite tricky to take out time to work part time. However, if you wish to work, you can try out options from the supermarket.

To study in NEOMA, French communication is a must.
Tips: Learn French before coming, it's not about the level, it's that you should be able to communicate. Apply for Crous accommodation in May. And the Crous canteen scholarship ASAP after arrival. Apply for the scholarships that are mentioned on the Campus France website. Make use of the free groceries for student organisations like Coop, Rest de course, spirits, etc.
Likes (Safety): City is safe as long as you do not enter the river side areas especially at night time. I have heard students getting robbed and are pushed into the river if they deny to give them the money. Be careful and be on alert all times if you go out. It can get risky.
Dislikes (Part time work): The opportunities are extremely limited. I have never seen anyone with an on campus part time job. Rouen is a small city, and off campus jobs are very few, especially if you do not speak French. Language is a major barrier.

Good college to study in, but need to learn French to find a job or an internship.
Tips: It's going to be tough if you do not speak French. If it's only to gain a degree, it doesn't matter if you speak or do not speak French. Make sure to apply for Crous accommodation at the beginning of April and the Crous canteen scholarship later. There are some Indian scholarships for students to study in France; check on the Campus France website.
Likes (Student Life): There are events constantly on campus and off campus, organised by the students. Apart from this, there are many organizations that give groceries to students. Food in the Crous canteen is amazing for 3.5 euros and with a scholarship, it's just 1 euro. There will be events constantly organized by the Crose, near the Ango building.
Dislikes (Part time work): I have never seen someone with an on-campus part-time job. Rouen is a small city, there won't be a lot of parttime jobs there if you do not speak French. There is only one Sri Lankan shop where one of my friends did part time as he speaks Tamil. There is no other option but to speak French.

Great global exposure for students.
Tips: It was initially challenging but I made a great group of friends which made things easier. The only cultural adjustment I faced was the language. I recommend that all students coming to France learn French to at least a B1 level. I applied late so the only scholarship I received was the Excellence Scholarship of 4000 euros from NEOMA but there are many other government scholarships available, such as the Eiffel Scholarship. I am content with how things turned out; there were ups and downs but that's part of the journey. Lastly I would advise students coming to France to study to keep an open mind and enjoy the process.
Likes (Student Life): A typical day in college started with classes in bright, comfortable classrooms that made learning enjoyable. One of my favourite things about the campus was how green and open it was. Between lectures, I loved walking through the forested area, which was peaceful and refreshing. Since the college was located on a hill, there was also a scenic spot nearby with a stunning view of the town below. Spending time there, especially during sunsets, was one of my favourite ways to relax. The campus had lively events, like spring, autumn, winter, Valentine's Day, music, Earth Day, club selections, and promotion events; I attended almost all of them. We also celebrated Indian festivals. There were communities for almost everything, including dance, music, sports, photography, charity, Honeybee, and food.
Dislikes (Indian Food): International food options, including Italian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian, French, Moroccan, Japanese, and Korean cuisine, are readily available. Prices typically range from 10 to 20 euros, depending on your spending. I cook more often as a vegetarian, as it's cheaper, but Paris offers a wider variety of vegetarian options.
