Masters in Biology and Health (Cancer Biology) - Batch of 2022
Offered by University of Bordeaux
4.6
The faculty is excellent, with strong spoken English skills.
Tips: I have become more independent and learned to handle things confidently. It's a lot different from my home country in terms of how people react, social norms, and public displays of affection. I am a Charpak A.M.E. scholar, and my allowance was 700 euros per month for two years.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is excellent, with strong spoken English skills, making lectures and discussions easily accessible to international students. The learning experience is hands-on, utilising real research data, which provides practical experience and a deeper understanding of the course. The teaching faculty consists of a mix of European and French instructors.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are limited options from my home country, and the food isn't very authentic in taste; it's spicy but with mild flavours. Indian food costs between 10-16 euros per meal. I prefer to cook at home, as it's healthier and cheaper, but I occasionally eat out for social events.
Total Monthly ExpenseEuro 800
Prepping time for classes15 hours/Week
Expected Annual SalaryEuro 50500
