There are plenty of opportunities, and the process of finding work is fairly smooth.
Tips: Before you join know that being independent sounds fun until you're doing your own laundry and budgeting for groceries. It's a steep learning curve! My transition was a bit of a rollercoaster - the biggest cultural shift was how direct people are here. It felt blunt at first, but now I appreciate the honesty. I managed to land the Academic Merit Scholarship by keeping my entry GPA high; it gives me as 3000 yearly stipend, which is a lifesaver for rent. I'm loving the vibe. The course is tough but practical and the country feels like a second home.
Dislikes (Indian Food): A few places try to offer authentic flavour but the taste and variety are limited and often adapted to local preference. In this locality, there are mostly small cafes, fast-food outlets, budget restaurants, and a few mid range family restaurants. Street food and casual dining usually cost less, while mid range restaurants are moderate priced. I generally prefer cooking for myself because it is healthier, more economical and closer to the food I'm used to, though I occasionally eat outside for convenience or socializing.

The city is extremely well-connected via train, metro, bus and tram.
Tips: This college does not offer any practical skills. If you want to study here, you have to figure out how to learn on your own. If you're someone who just wants to come to Germany without any qualifications, this university is for you. If you're a hard-working, honest student, you do not belong here.
Likes (Public transportation): Berlin transport is one of the best in Europe. The city is extremely well-connected via train, metro, bus and tram. Even in the middle of the night, getting home is not a problem. It's also very affordable and available 24/7, making it one of the best places to live for students in the world.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The university is not recognised by any German company, so it's super hard to get a job. I had to struggle my way to get one. The teachers at the university are substandard, and the ones who are good don't feel motivated to teach well, as they think that students are just not worth it.
