  • Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in economics or a related subject 
  • Professional qualification from a university degree in the field of economics or a related degree with at least 120 ECTS credits in economics subjects (including methodological subject areas and economically relevant areas of law is required
  • If the bachelor's degree is still outstanding at the time of application, proof must be provided that no more than 30 ECTS credits have been earned by the time of application degree missing
  • Evidence of at least 24 ECTS credits in the methodical subject areas of mathematics, statistics, econometrics, microeconomics/microeconomics must be provided
  • Courses in these areas from the basic studies and the advanced studies are taken into account, which primarily imparts basics and methods and does not focus on (thematic) application. This criterion is due to the quantitative-methodological orientation of the faculty
  • The subject of econometrics primarily includes the interpretation and estimation of parameters as well as hypothesis tests in the multiple linear models (also taking into account possible deviations from the standard assumptions)
  • Microeconomics/microeconomics as a methodical subject primarily includes basic economic theory approaches that analyze the theory of preferences, household and company theory as well as the theory of market equilibrium with the help of mathematical methods
