Tips: Knowing the language up to a minimum of B1 is a huge plus; it helps one to understand the basic legal and regulatory processes and to connect with people. The city has good public transportation, which is included in the semester ticket. The university sports centre also has a lot of sports courses for the students, along with a gym. The university also provides guidance regarding your first steps, advice and counselling sessions for exam preparation.

- International Mechatronics is a two-year master’s degree course. The first year of the course is taught at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University in Russia and the second year at Leibniz University Hannover in Germany
- he first year of the course concentrates on information engineering and mathematics. The second year concentrates on mechanical and electrical engineering, with the final semester devoted to the completion of a master’s degree project and thesis
- On successful completion of the course, each student will receive two degrees: Master of Science in Mechatronics from Leibniz University Hannover and Master of Science in Information Science and Computer Engineering from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University
