Art and design department is good!
Tips: Moving here was an absolute nightmare at first, mostly because my German was terrible and the language barrier isolated me. Joining some of the campus student groups—like the travel clubs and creative meetups—was honestly the only way I managed to make friends and finally settle in. I funded everything independently, but there was one discount that I got because I had more than an 80% score in my high school grade, so I got a few percent discount, like 10 to 20%, depending on your score.
Likes (Student Life): Basically, the study is more project-based, and that’s how you actually connect to the group by having group discussions and participating in things about events; it’s quite lively, as I would say, because our university has community clubs that host events like Halloween prom, and I have also been a part of that community.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Regarding visa sponsorship, there are relatively few companies offering junior or entry-level roles, which makes the market highly competitive. Salary packages are standard for entry positions as minimum wage but knowing german is important, specifically basics

Great college to experience a master's degree life with a lot of opportunities in the city
Tips: Really open up your mind about inclusivity. I found out through my research. No particular scholarship other than early bird registration, as far as I know. I am satisfied with my experience, because of both city vibes and the university. Although, the career center can improve more.
Likes (Indian Food): The city (being the capital) has many different nationalities, which provide multiple food options. As an Indian, I found plenty of Indian grocery stores all over the cities. Besides, there are many different Indian restaurants with different menus. So food is not a problem, irrespective of the country.
Dislikes (Internships): The career center helps, but a lot of effort has to be put in by us. Also, my course didn't have a compulsory internship. But I saw other students getting internships in their program with the help of college. So I think asking other students would be more helpful.

Supportive, friendly and helpful faculty.
Tips: This college is awesome. The teachers are great and the campus support is good. They're quick to answer questions. They also create a good learning vibe and even do project-based learning. The transportation is good and the staff and standards are really high quality. Good experiences.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I rated 2 for post-study jobs because visa-sponsored roles are limited and highly competitive for international graduates. Although Germany has many employers, only some companies like Siemens, SAP, and Volkswagen Group hire with sponsorship. Jobs are mainly in IT, engineering, healthcare, and logistics with salaries around €35,000–€95,000 depending on role and experience.

Enjoyable with some up and downs.
Tips: Learn German until C1 is mandatory for basic jobs. Winter is fully dark for almost 4 months so be prepared for that. Try to live the German life instead of enforcing what you were doing back home. Go out more to have more knowledge about things. Back home you might have competition just within states but here it's with everyone in the world.
Dislikes (Part time work): Finidng part time is really hard especially with English language as a main and you have to learn German which is a tough language to learn. Making friends is hard; people are not talking to you randomly and attending events gets less because of this issue.

Research thoroughly first before joining.
Tips: Do the proper research. Don't fall for any influencer's video. Learn German at least A2 before landing in Germany. Try to target the public universities. Plan your finances carefully. Don't expect that finishing study will lead you to land a job in Germany.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is commonplace and well-connected which makes life easier. The university also provides a semester ticket, in which students get a discount on a Deutschland ticket, which is valid to travel around Germany on regional trains, bus, and U-Bahn not the ICES.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There is no job search support provided after the course ends. International students are struggling to get a full-time job as per their profile. After course completion, there is no help provided by the university to help the students to get either an internship or full time job. Don't expect any campus interviews.
