Its like Indian college made for Indians in Germany
Tips: The biggest reality check before joining UE Germany is managing your expectations around cost and careers. Private university tuition fees add up quickly, and recruiters in Germany heavily favor public university degrees and fluent German speakers. Make sure you hit at least B1 German before stepping off the plane, and do your own independent research instead of trusting paid consultants. On top of that, culture shock is real—German social culture is quite reserved, so building a strong friend group requires active effort outside campus.

Worth the Shot - Don't give second thoughts!!
Tips: You will learn a lot in your life, not just academically; the environment increases your exposure a lot. It will also increase your opportunities massively and is definitely worth the change. So I would advise anyone not to give second thoughts; go for it. You will surely feel homesick, and that would be with any country, but here in Germany, you will find a lot of Indians; every people from varied countries are really friendly. Manage expenses well and record everything, as things move a bit slowly here with respect to documentation. Learn German not for the certificate but for you to be able to converse.
Likes (Value for money): This not only allows you to fetch jobs in Europe but also increases your market value drastically once you return to India or any country you are from, helping you repay the education loan if you have taken one. Also, Berlin allows you to do part-time jobs and also part-time odd jobs, helping you recover more money than the money you spend there.
Dislikes (Safety): There is no other safety provided off campus, but overall it is safe. If you end up doing part-time odd jobs, prefer that they don't involve commuting to locations that feel unsafe to you. Because a major part of your time will be off campus. Try staying in Berlin, preferably, and commute to Potsdam using public transportation like U-Bahn and S-Bahn. Berlin is more fun than Potsdam and more secure.

don't apply for a private uni
Tips: If you think you can recover the money you spent on tuition by the job you'll get, it's not entirely true. It's a large gamble on getting a regular job. This college does nothing or adds no value. Far better and more realistic is to learn the German language (or any European language according to the country) before landing here so you have a higher chance of getting odd jobs for survival. If you do not know the language, then you can only get the community-owned jobs (Indians mostly do Uber delivery, underpaid), so don't take a loan; apply for public free school. Reality outside is also harsh. Be prepared; learn language and skills and add experience, anything that will uplift your CV to an international level. Absolutely come here, as Germany is safe and beautiful and our country, India, is not habitable.
Dislikes (Value for money): In a country where education is free, it doesn't feel right to pay so much for a private school, which definitely feels like a business owned by Indians only. How schools/colleges/coaching have capitalized in India on poor conditions of the state and a dream to escape poverty with education—if you pay lacs, here the dream of escaping a third-world country is sold. Even if you are short on time while applying for a visa in India, it's better to take a rest year and reapply to public free schools in Germany.

Art and design department is good!
Tips: Moving here was an absolute nightmare at first, mostly because my German was terrible and the language barrier isolated me. Joining some of the campus student groups—like the travel clubs and creative meetups—was honestly the only way I managed to make friends and finally settle in. I funded everything independently, but there was one discount that I got because I had more than an 80% score in my high school grade, so I got a few percent discount, like 10 to 20%, depending on your score.
Likes (Student Life): Basically, the study is more project-based, and that’s how you actually connect to the group by having group discussions and participating in things about events; it’s quite lively, as I would say, because our university has community clubs that host events like Halloween prom, and I have also been a part of that community.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Regarding visa sponsorship, there are relatively few companies offering junior or entry-level roles, which makes the market highly competitive. Salary packages are standard for entry positions as minimum wage but knowing german is important, specifically basics

Great college to experience a master's degree life with a lot of opportunities in the city
Tips: Really open up your mind about inclusivity. I found out through my research. No particular scholarship other than early bird registration, as far as I know. I am satisfied with my experience, because of both city vibes and the university. Although, the career center can improve more.
Likes (Indian Food): The city (being the capital) has many different nationalities, which provide multiple food options. As an Indian, I found plenty of Indian grocery stores all over the cities. Besides, there are many different Indian restaurants with different menus. So food is not a problem, irrespective of the country.
Dislikes (Internships): The career center helps, but a lot of effort has to be put in by us. Also, my course didn't have a compulsory internship. But I saw other students getting internships in their program with the help of college. So I think asking other students would be more helpful.

Supportive, friendly and helpful faculty.
Tips: This college is awesome. The teachers are great and the campus support is good. They're quick to answer questions. They also create a good learning vibe and even do project-based learning. The transportation is good and the staff and standards are really high quality. Good experiences.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I rated 2 for post-study jobs because visa-sponsored roles are limited and highly competitive for international graduates. Although Germany has many employers, only some companies like Siemens, SAP, and Volkswagen Group hire with sponsorship. Jobs are mainly in IT, engineering, healthcare, and logistics with salaries around €35,000–€95,000 depending on role and experience.
