MSc in Management of Information Systems Strategy - Batch of 2026

DCU is perfect for academics and as well as activities and fun.
Tips: I am actually happy with the university and everything. It even offers scholarships. I plan to complete the academic studies as fast as I can. The first applicant will get a scholarship easily, and sometimes, they will look into your past academics to see if you have an 8 CGPA. If you do, you will get the scholarship easily. There are a lot of restaurants here in Ireland, including many Indian food places, but I find it too expensive to eat at restaurants all the time. You might go out once in a while to satisfy your cravings, but it's so much better to prepare your own food if you want to save money. It's very hard to get a part-time job, and it will take at least half a month to find one. Sometimes it would take more than three months. Currently, the population of Ireland is so high that it's not balanced with the job market. So, it is tough to get a part-time job here.

It was great. Right now, job hunt has been stressful
Tips: Be prepared for cold weather. I got sick here frequently when compared to India, you can have a bad throat easily. You will not find any discrimination here, as for scholarships, the Ph.D. students get more chances for them as the funding is directed towards research.

Accommodation crisis is real.
Tips: No accommodation is available and it is stressful to find one. In terms of scholarship, it's easy as I just applied and got the scholarship. I am satisfied with the course and satisfied with the university. I got 2000 euros worth of scholarship, it’s a DCU merit scholarship.

DCU is complicated and different.
Tips: UCD might be better, or try for another country. Ireland has changed. It's not safe, and teenagers will bully you most of the time. Indians have faced this, so I would say go for another city or country for now, in case it's also very slow and you won't like it, maybe.
