- HSC XII (all State boards): Overall average of 70% or above.
- A recognised International Foundation course from an Irish/UK institution or an Indian institution following a validated Irish/UK syllabus. Entry requirements vary but the college normally asks for between 60% and 65% .
- Applicant must have a grade H5 and above in two higher level subjects together with a minimum of O6 in four other subjects. A minimum of grade H5 must be obtained in Mathematics. A minimum of grade O6 must be obtained in English.

Tips: Students should be prepared for an industry-focused and academically demanding environment. A welcoming campus and a welcoming city.
Tips: The workload in NCI can be sometimes demanding. Time management is very important especially if you want to work part-time with your studies. The transition was smooth overall to Dublin. You need to get adjusted to the weather and cost of living in Dublin.
Likes (Student Life): Student life at NCI is very active and friendly. They host several events. NCI organizes a variety of events like cultural festivals, career fairs, tech talks and student gatherings. There are several clubs as gaming clubs cultural groups, tech societies which you will be introduced to on your induction day.
Dislikes (Safety): The campus itself feels safe, but Dublin can be unpredictable sometimes, especially late in the evening. On campus, we had student support services that guide you on safety in the city. Some parts of the city are not suggested to travel alone. Stay away from those places and you will be granted.
