University College Dublin has excellent teaching faculty.
Tips: No cultural shift but the competition is high. Students coming here should have background knowledge of the course before entering the course since it gets easier to pick up things. The process is slow for everything. Choose college and courses based on your need and don't blindly follow anyone.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Dedicated professor for each subject. Easy to approach at any time and any day with a quick response via email as well. A good amount of projects + assignments for career building make you ready for the job market. Teachers are from all around the globe.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Good opportunity for IT. Almost every company is ready to sponsor stamp 1 and salary and roles are purely according to the market. Better to start applying for jobs once you land in Ireland as many companies are ready to wait till the course is over as the process is slow.

Good faculty with great experience at UCD.
Tips: You might experience some cultural difference from India. Look out for scholarships once you have the offer, and also for the internships provided by the college. I have received a good amount of scholarship based on my resume, so update your resume before applying. The University is very well managed and the faculty is very cooperative.
Dislikes (Indian Food): You have a massive variety of options for food in Dublin. You can find all types of cuisine there. I mostly prefer cooking at home, as it is quite reasonable. Some of the good options to explore: Indian Tiffins, Hyderabad Kitchen, Pickle, Andhra Bhawan.

Worth for every single penny
Tips: Do search for scholarships before coming. There are many offline scholarships also that can help you to ease the burden. Also, the weather is quite bad here and the average cost of living particularly in Dublin is high so you can think of another place. The jobs opportunities are good with an average salary of 30k to 35k
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is easily available here without any hassle and there are bus stops in every city in Ireland. Also, the cost of transportation is affordable here I prefer the bus but you can use different transportation like trains, taxis etc based on your budget.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are different types of restaurants here with different kinds of food but it is very difficult to find good Indian food here and if you find so then the cost is pretty high. So my suggestion would be to sit in your home and cook by yourself as it would be cheaper and better.

I had a great time in this university.
Tips: Do proper research on your choice of course before joining any university. UCD is one of the best universities in Ireland. You can focus on your studies and side by side you can enjoy your student life. Also, look for the career opportunities for your choice of course.
Likes (Safety): For me, I feel completely safe while roaming in Dublin. But some of my friends are having a few bad experiences. Some of my friends faced racism but the number of such cases is less. Because of this issue, some of my friends got attacked. But fortunately, I didn’t face such an issue.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking myself because there are limited Indian food options in Ireland. And the available options are expensive. So, for me, it is better to prepare my meal at home. In Dublin, we just had a few options for Indian food. I am facing an issue regarding that.

Life of an international student at UCD is amazing
Tips: The university is great. But the thing the students should keep in mind is the weather in Ireland. Very different from India. It can start training any time of the day. Also, the university does give out scholarships to students which is how I got a scholarship worth 7500 euros. Overall it's a fun place to be. Also, keep in mind the housing crisis as well.
Likes (Student Life): Since I am a masters student I only have three classes in a week. It gives me plenty of time to go over my reading and assignments and to have a social life as well. The campus organises career fairs and talks regularly and they have a dedicated team as well. There are numerous societies to build up your social life, they have a bit of everything.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Unlike UK, Ireland does not have many Indian restaurants and the ones that are here are somewhat expensive comparatively. Also, vegetarian food is a bit expensive if you want to eat out but the groceries are priced okay so you can cook for cheap at home.
