- Understanding of landscape system characteristics (geology, soil science, hydrology, ecology)
- Landscape analysis skills
- Outdoor spatial design skills at multiple scale levels
- Research methodology, comparable to the BSc course Research Methodology for Human Environment Interactions

- A BSc in spatial, urban and/or regional planning
- At least 24 ECTS in coursework dedicated to spatial planning, including spatial planning theory, methods and practice/studio/practicum. A pre-master may apply.
- At least 12 ECTS in coursework dedicated to spatial planning, including spatial planning theory, methods and practice/studio/practicum. A pre-master will usually apply.
- The following minimum qualifications are considered approximately equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the Netherlands
- A 3 or 4 years Bachelor of Arts/Science Honours only if ranked from top institute with A++ grading NAAC with at least 70% OR 10-point scale:
7.0/10 - A 4 years Bachelor of Engineering/Science/Technology with at least 70% OR 10-point scale: 7.0/10
- A 5 years Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with at least 70% OR 10-point scale: 7.0/10
