Macquarie University Announces Scholarships For Indian Students Worth AUD 40,000 For 2025-26 Intake

Study in Australia: This scholarship is announced to support the outstanding Indian students applying to various UG and PG courses at the Macquire University. The students need not apply separately for this scholarship, they will be assessed for it automatically.
Macquarie University in Sydney has announced ‘Early Acceptance Scholarship’ for Indian students. The scholarship is worth AUD 40,000 towards tuition fees. The scholarship is for academically outstanding Indian students applying for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the university in the academic years 2025 and 2026.
According to the official statement of Macquarie University, the university will provide AUD 10,000 funding per year under the scholarship. This scholarship is applicable to all four-year UG programs. Hence, the students can get a full amount of AUD 40,000 for a four-year period.
David Harrison, Executive Director, International at Macquarie University, said, “We are happy to offer the Early Acceptance Scholarship to talented and ambitious Indian students pursuing their academic goals at Macquarie University. The scholarship is available on a wide array of courses, including Data Science, Banking and Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, Medicine, Arts, Business Analytics, Media and Communication. Students who apply for any courses at Macquarie University will be directly eligible for this scholarship, and they do not need to separately apply for the scholarship.

Macquarie University Gets $35 Million In Federal Funding
Australia’s first Care Economy Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) is led by La Trobe University. The Macquarie University is all set to support the CRC to improve data solutions, enhance technology, and workforce innovation in the care sector. Under this project, 60 Australian organisations are working together, and $129 million has been funded for this project.
Professor Degotardi, Director of Macquarie University’s Centre for Research in Early Childhood Education (CRECE), said, “Government and stakeholder investment in the Care Economy CRC provides an Australia-first opportunity for the early childhood sector to work collaboratively across disciplines and contexts to strengthen early childhood provision. This opportunity recognises the world-class, impactful early childhood education research conducted by CRECE and capitalises on the close relationships our researchers have with early childhood stakeholders."
