The candidates who will apply for early admission to the University of Miami will automatically be considered for the Stamps Scholarship. To apply for early admission, they need to submit all first-year admission requirements by November 1, 2025.

The University of Miami has invited applications for the Stamps scholarship. It is a prestigious merit award awarded to exceptional and academically sound high school seniors. The scholarship will be given to the high school seniors based on their application and supporting documents. The semi-finalists will be interviewed through Zoom in January.

"A Stamps Scholar must complete a full-time undergraduate program of study with no fewer than 12 credit hours during each of the fall and spring semesters for a minimum of 24 credit hours per academic year. A minimum of a 3.0 GPA for the academic year must be maintained at the University of Miami, with the initial calculation at the end of the second semester of attendance. The award is subject to revision pending receipt of any grant, scholarship, or prepaid tuition and/or housing aid not anticipated at the time the award is made," says the University of Miami statement.

How To Apply For Stamps Scholarship At University Of Miami

The applicants need to follow these points while applying to the University of Miami's stamps scholarship:

  • To apply, the students need to submit a common application by paying a $70 nonrefundable application fee.
  • They need to write a personal statement of 650 words or less.
  • Candidates need to provide a list of extracurricular activities which can be clubs, sports, service trips, babysitting and involvement in politics.
  • Students need to submit an ACT and/or SAT score.
  • The students whose native language is not English, need to submit the scores of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), or Duolingo English Test (DET).
  • Candidates must submit a letter of recommendation and school report.
