Conversion rate used: 1 Pound = Rs. 124.59 (last updated 1st April 2026)

• The £4,000 is available as a tuition fee reduction on the first year of study.
• If you are already in receipt of a scholarship award from university or you become eligible for another scholarship award from them, University will apply 50% of the value of the Excellence Scholarship award. This will be applied on top of any other Southampton award you receive as long as the combined value of both awards does not equal more than 100% of your tuition fees.

Eligibility

• To get this scholarship you must: 

  • be a resident of India who would be eligible to pay the  overseas tuition fee
  • have a conditional or unconditional offer to study any in person, full-time, postgraduate master’s programme
  • pay your tuition fee deposit by 30th June 2026

• University determines residency as where you have been living for a 3-year period or longer before the start of the course.

• This does not include where you are living for study purposes, if it is somewhere different from your place of permanent residency.

• As there is no seprate application required to apply for this scholarship. So students must have to follow the course specific or general document guidelines.

Scholarship Application

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed.
