  • if applicants achieve 44 points or higher in the IB they will receive a £6,000 first year tuition fee waiver (a total of £8,000 including the Chancellor's Scholarship)
  • if applicants achieve 43 points in the IB they will receive a £3,000 first year tuition fee waiver (a total of £5,000 including the Chancellor's Scholarship)
  • if applicants achieve 42 points in the IB they will receive a £1,500 first year tuition fee waiver (a total of £3,500 including the Chancellor's Scholarship)

Eligibility

  • In order to receive the International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship applicants must:
    • Be assessed as a new first-year overseas fee paying student
    • Accept a place on a full-time campus based undergraduate course starting in 2025
    • Achieve 42 points or higher in the International Baccalaureate (IB)
  • Applicants must meet the admission requirements to be eligible for this scholarship:
    • India Specific -
      • The university accept the Higher Secondary School Certificates (XII Standard). The university make offers on an average of your best four subjects, with an average of between 75% and 90% (depending on degree course). Some degrees may require specific marks in individual subjects.
      • These requirements are for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) boards. The university also consider other boards but requirements may differ.
      • The university also consider A levels or International Baccalaureate qualifications.
    • The course eligibility varies from course to course, students need to check the course pages & fulfill them.
    • For some of the courses, the university will invite applicants to attend an interview if their application looks suitable and applicants are studying a qualification that is harder for us to assess on paper.

    • If applicants apply to Bath and meet the eligibility criteria, they will be considered automatically for the International Baccalaureate 50th Anniversary Scholarship
