Study in UK for Indian Students: Admissions open at University of Edinburgh
Applications for 2024/25 visiting student programmes are now open. The application system is upgrading and hence between April 26 to April 29, 9 am (BST), the student may not be able to start or amend their visiting student application during this period. All the applications must be submitted before the last date May 31, 2024.
Study in UK: the University of Edinburgh is accepting the application forms from international students for the year 2024/25 visiting student programmes. The last date to submit the application form is May 31, 2024.
The University of Edinburgh has notified that due to the system upgrade, access to EUCLID and visiting students’ applications will be unavailable between April 26, 2 pm to April 29, 9 am (BST). However, interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply for the courses before and after this period. Study Abroad and Exchange applications are processed on a rolling admissions basis.
After the successful submission of the application forms by the students, the College of Science & Engineering and the College of Arts Humanities & Social Sciences, Visiting Student Offices will contact applicants within 6 weeks of receiving a completed application.

All information regarding study abroad at the University of Edinburgh is available on the website - www.ed.ac.uk/global/study-abroad. The Semester 1 course will start in September 2024 and the Semester 2 course will start in January 2025, for which the deadline is October 31, 2024.

The university said that Professor Peter Higgs passed away at the age of 94.
"He passed away peacefully at home on April 8 following a short illness. A great teacher and mentor inspiring generations of young scientists," said the official statement of the University of Edinburgh.
