Q. What are the entry requirements for an MBA from Sydney Business School?

A. Candidates need to have a recognized Bachelor’s degree with an equivalent average mark of 50%, and a minimum of three years’ relevant full-time professional or managerial experience to gain entry. Sydney Business School offers two MBA programs. The first is a one-year program and the other one is a two-year program. You can check the complete details of both the MBA programs here

Q. What are the scholarships available for the MBA course?

A. SBS offers a Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship that provides a 30% tuition fee waiver. No application is required to get this scholarship, students will be automatically be considered for this scholarship.

Q. What all documents are required for the application process?

A. Documents required for the application process:

  • 10th mark sheet and certificate
  • 12th mark sheet and certificate
  •  Graduation year-wise or semester-wise mark sheet
  •  Completion degree or provisional certificate
  •  Backlog letter or failed mark sheet in case of any arrears/ fails during the study period
  •  Updated resume
  •  Joining and relieving letters for previous companies – incase of working profile
  •  Passport copy- 1st and last page
  •  IELTS, TOEFL, or any other English proficiency result taken in the last 2 years

Q. What are the steps university is taking to prevent the spread of the current pandemic?

A. To slow down the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), the University of Wollongong has transitioned to remote delivery of teaching and learning to ensure the well-being of our community and minimize its impact on studies. The university is using online tools like Moodle, Zoom, Webex, and Echo 360. UOW will provide the resources and assistance to transition to remote delivery and ensure every student can continue their education.

Currently, online classes are going on and the university is planning to bring some classes back on campus next year.

Q. Does SBS offers a course in management to candidates with no prior work experience?

A. Candidates with no work or professional experience can go for Sydney Business School’s Master of Management.

Q. Apart from MBA, UOW offers what other business and management-related courses?

A. Those who do not wish to pursue an MBA can go for Master of Business, Master of Business Analytics,







Master of Financial Management, Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Master of International Business, Master of Human Resource Management, Master of Management, and Master of Marketing.

Also, candidates with no work experience can pursue a Master of Management degree.

Q. How UOW helps students other than studies?

A. UOW offers internships that allow students to gain work experience while they are studying. The university also hosts networking events, career expos, and field trips so students can meet potential employers. UOW also has a careers service team that helps students with their resumes and apply for jobs in Australia.

Q. Are students allowed to work part-time while studying in Australia?

A. Students are allowed to work part-time up to 20 hours per fortnight while studying in Australia on their student visa.

A. Wollongong is a very safe city and campus. If students need any kind of assistance then there is a full security team available at the campus.

Q. Tell us more about MBA specializations.

A. There is no specialization in a one-year MBA, however, in a 2 years course you can choose a specialization from different fields like marketing, supply chain, project management, innovation and entrepreneurship, international business, and business analytics.

Q. Can students apply for a post-study work visa after pursuing an MBA in Australia?

A. After completing a 2-year program, students can apply for a 2-year post-study work visa to work anywhere in Australia.

A. Business Analytics, Finance, and Accounting are high job growth sectors in Australia.
