Q. What are the eligibility requirements for admission into Oklahoma City University, USA?

A. Every program is bound to have a different requirement, applicants are requested to visit the official website for clarity and apply thereafter. However, on a very fundamental level, the admission council would take into account your high school transcripts or O level & A level certificates of International Baccalaureate (IB), whichever is applicable. The university would expect a student to have a GPA of 2.75, which is similar to a student getting at least 50% in High school.

Q. What is the fee structure at Oklahoma City University, USA?

A. Without any scholarship, International students would be required to pay USD 925 per credit hour with block tuition, so students can take either 12 credits or 16 credits per semester and it would amount to the same value. Additionally, accommodation costs would roughly amount to USD 2,050 per semester and meals would be a further USD 2,521 per semester would have to be added for the total tuition and living costs.

Q. What are the scholarships offered by the university?

A. The university provides scholarships on a merit basis. All scholarships are based on CGPA or English test or SAT scores. Students would be required to get at least a 3.0 GPA, TOEFL iBT score of 79 and above, or IELTS Score of 6.5 or Duolingo Score of 95 and above to be eligible for financial aid. Candidates are notified that there are no 100% scholarships at OCU, but scholarships can range from USD 2,000 - 18,000.

Q. Are the eligibility tests mandatory for admission to Oklahoma City University, USA?

A. Students should note that the admission council takes into consideration GPA, SAT, and English language test scores to determine scholarships. Students are not required to appear for GRE. Due to the current ongoing pandemic, students who have difficulty appearing for English languages proficiency tests such as TOEFL and IELTS can also opt for Duolingo. Currently, the university does not have a waiver for English tests.

Q. What are the employment stats for graduating students?

A. Currently Oklahoma City University, USA has a high percentage of job placement for seniors who graduate from OCU. The university has close to 90% job placement, whereas the US national average is only 43%. Candidates should note that they would be eligible for part-time work, however, this would only cover their everyday needs (fun money).
