- Selection of eligible applicants is based upon admission tests. Information about the admission tests can be found at the home page of the Academy of Music and Drama

- Instructions and criteria for videos
- Video recordings will only be accepted as grounds for evaluation if follow the instructions below in application:
- Read the test instructions for the programme and instrument applying for carefully to know what need to upload.
- Begin each video by introducing yourself. Applicant must also state clearly what piece they are going to perform in the recording. Applicant's videos will not be considered valid unless your face and your hands are visible the entire time.
- Perform only one piece/test requirement per video. Each video may be at most 6 minutes long and must be performed in a single uncut take. No clipping or other technical editing is allowed. The total length of your videos together may not exceed 15 minutes.
- Remember to do a sound test with your recording equipment prior to recording. The sound must be of high quality, without excessive room acoustic effects, distortion or noise.
- The videos must be of good picture quality, with clear focus and good lighting.
- The recordings must be uploaded in one of the following approved file formats: MP4 or MOV. Other file formats are not allowed.
- Remember that many people may be trying to upload videos in the final days before the application deadline, which may overload the servers. If videos have not been submitted prior to the deadline, test will be invalid, so make sure applicant don’t wait until the last day/days to upload them so they know their videos will be received in time
