Q:   Is IMI Switzerland public or private?

A:

Established in 1991,  IMI is a private school for higher education in hospitality in Switzerland. The institution began operating at Hotel Waldstaetten in Weggis municipality with 55 students and 10 faculty members. In 1997, IMI launched its present-day campus in Kastanienbaum. It received the membership of the Pacific Asia Tourist Association (PATA) in 1999. IMI has authorization from the government-supported accrediting body EduQua ever since 2005.

Q:   Does IMI Switzerland accept international students?

A:

Yes, IMI is one of Switzerland's leading hospitality management schools for higher education and hosts a total of 400 students (200 in-house and 200 internship) students from over 35 different nationalities on their beautiful lakeside campus located in Kastanienbaum.

Q:   What is the IMI Switzerland acceptance rate?

A:

The IMI Switzerland acceptance rate is nearly 85% and this figure indicates that on an average, 85 out of every 100 applicants manage to secure admission in the institution. Hence, this makes Gisma Business School a lesser competitive school to get in. However, students must not show any laxity and must fulfill all the admission, documents and English proficiency language requirements.

Note: The data is taken from unofficial sources and is subjected to change every year.
