Universities in Finland, especially research universities, are generally known to be very selective at admitting students. However, the University of Jyvaskyla is an excpetion.

Its acceptance rate of 60%, is much higher than that of popular universities whose rates of acceptance range between 5-20%. 

Morover, both the Yrkeshogskolan Novia & Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK) have acceptance rates 53%, & 68%, respectively, per data curated from unofficial sources.

Q:   Does admission to various universities in Finland require IELTS score?
A: 

Yes, international students are required to submit IELTS score in order to take admission. Most Finland Universities require an IELTS score of 6.0 – 7.0. However, exceptions could be there. Other English language proficiency scores that are accepted are TOEFL / PTE.
